1992 Isuzu Trooper LS | Retro Review

I love Isuzu Troopers, I prefer the first gen box on wheels. My last trooper was a 89 Trooper RS, 90 in. Wheel base, 4.88 gears, she was a beast at Uwharrie. I hate I sold that one.

I LOVE this generatoin trooper. I'll have one some day in a manual.

They are outstanding off roaders.

I had a 88 with a 5-speed. It was slower than death and it felt like a tin can but it would go through anything, and in it's own way fun to drive. I wouldn't mind having another one. The 92 was actually nice inside.

Always liked the looks but never bought one. I remember something about lifter issues.

Loved that they had an incline/decline meter on the dash. Doubled as an alert to how close you are to rolling it over.
