I bought a 03 recently that had some front end damage
Once I got it repaired I drove it and it’s only making 5psi
The car is a 03 cobra 156k miles
2.76 upper pulley, stock lower, long tubes and accufab tb/elbow. It also has a xcal 4 with a tune in it from 2 owners ago.
First thing I did was replace the belt and tensioner. What I have found is if I do the boost bypass like the write up shows on this site it will make 12-13 psi
With the boost solenoid hooked up it goes back to 5psi
I have tried 2 different boost solenoids and a different iat2 sensor and no change
Also the a/f is reading lean in boost with the bypass mod. I will be verifying the af meter is correct later this week but can’t figure out what is making it lose boost with the bypass and solenoid hooked up like factory.
