A++++ reply, very helpful, will definitely read again.

It looks like we're gonna get down to Chicago late Monday morning so we'll have the day to kill until game starts then hang around until mid day Tuesday and head back to Milwaukee. I definitely wanna wander through the Science and Industry Museum everything else we'll probably just play by ear for the most part.

Go for the deep dish, stay for the murder.

How is the weather gonna be?

I don’t know how long you will be in Milwaukee but I recommend the HD Museum and German District.

MaOstrich is a souper inguneer like Wile E Coyote was a super genius.

no idea, not going until late March. We did the HD museum when I went for her college graduation a few years ago, super cool place. As far as Milwaukee I'm basically just going wherever she takes us

Check out the rooftop bar at the kimpton in Milwaukee. Bloody Mary’s at the wicked hop. Dinner at odd duck, Dan Dan, or snack boyz. All in the 3rd Ward in Milwaukee.

Lots to do in Chicago.

Museum of Science and Industry is recently updated and always being worked on. Just off of Lake Shore Drive.
Field Museum is nice as well
@patc84 - Cabrini green has been gone for many many years. Barrington eh? Nice area, very expensive.....

Portillos is great, but they are always super busy.
Lou's pizza is OK. Nothing to brag about.
Starbucks just opened the largest store downtown. It is several floors with a lot of things to do.
Water tower was redone and is a pretty sweet mall.
Night time horse carriage rides through downtown is pretty sweet.
Rosemount, just out of the city limits is pretty badass. Indoor skydiving, comedy clubs, good places to eat at, Rver's casino, etc.
Download spothero and "ParkChicago". You'll thank me later.
Lots of breweries downtown to check out and on the outskirts of the city limits as well
Want good italian beef? Al's beef.
Good pizza? Pequods. Be ready to wait, though.

Hit me up if you need any other suggestions. Born and raised, llived in Lincoln Square/Ravenswood for 20ish years, then moved to the burbs. Still visit the city often, though.

It was a joke, didnt know it was no longer these. I did volunteer work there when i was in high schoool, talk about a shithole.

Yup, grew up there, moved to florida in 05, Its a beautiful area, yes, very expensive. When i go home, its always nice to take a drive thru barrington hills, and south barrington and check out all the new crazy homes going up. My parents still live there.

Just booked a trip to Naperville/Chicago in mid June. I havent been to Chicago in a long time and that was before I was legal to drive. Saved a bunch of these recommendations, thanks! Gonna need a car while we're there, probably try Turo. Saved those parking apps. Gonna check AirBNB for our Fr/Sat night stay

Any other cool restaurant/bars/entertainment that we can't find on google/yelp would be appreciated!
