Official Terminator Diecast Thread

Okay everyone,

I have been motivated, so I did some work on the MC Vert.

Got it polished up last night.

BEFORE (If you look to the right of the light reflection you can see 2 tiny bumps on the hood. That's trash in the paint and why these need to be cut and buffed after it's clear coated)







DURING (you can see the 2 tiny bumps are now gone and the clear coat has been sanded to a smooth haze)









AFTER (flaws have been removed and clear coat polished to a high luster/shine)








Here you can clearly see the reflection of my fingers as I took the picture.

After I finished polishing the MC Vert I wanted to keep going. So, I did some assembly.

Love that color shifting paint!!!!

Okay everyone,

Was able to get a lot of work done this past weekend. Got 3 cars finished, 2 started and another request.

Here is a SM 10th Anniversary I completed.

Owner wanted the following:

• 10th Anniversary interior

• Factory Cobra Wheels painted silver/argent (Non-Chrome)

• Calipers painted Red

• SVT on H/E

• Cobra in grill

• Black shifter ball

• Black Chrome replicated rear bumper letters

• Personal Plate

Here is the MC Vert I completed.

Owner wanted the following:

• Factory wheels

• Flat black bumper letters

• Lowered

• SVT on H/E

• Cobra in grill

• Personal Plate (pending)

• Style Bar

Here is the OW Coupe I completed (I really like how this came out with all the customers requested details. Based on the pictures of the customers car I added the "terminator" radiator cover. Hope he likes it...….).

Owner wanted the following:

• Chrome Cobra wheels

• Lowered

• SVT on H/E

• Supercharger painted flat black

• Valve covers painted blue

• Calipers painted red

• Interior painted Parchment

• Gloss black bumper letters

• Personal Plate

Okay, as mentioned, I have 2 cars started and 1 request that came in.

They will be a ZY Coupe, CO Vert and an OW Vert.

Here are the start of the ZY Coupe and CO Vert. I already got the bodies down to bare metal. Should be able to start the paint process this weekend:

On another note. I was watching an episode of "Bitchin Rides" this weekend. I noticed Dave still has the diecast I sent him sitting on the shelf. And it's on the front part of the shelf LOL. Pretty sweet!

Black Gold 380R knocked it out of the park!

Just wanted to pop in and thank Glenn for the awesome job on my Mystichrome convertible. The model came out AMAZING! I can't even begin to imagine anything better coming from this to be honest....The entire experience, from speaking to Glenn about what I wanted to the actual processing time has been top notch. If you're considering this, do it now! You won't be disappointed!

Blownfox and Osiris, I really enjoyed building your cars. Both are very different that a stock build. I cannot always accommodate requests, but when guys ask for things such as interior painted or different wheels and I have the ability to procure them it makes it a great experience for me and the owners. I built a replica of my Cobra and to see a mini version of your car is pretty cool indeed. Glad I could do this for your guys.

Blwn89gt, looking forward to your build. Should come out looking pretty sweet once it's all done.

Hey Guys, seen this thread, was curious where on SVT Performance site I could sell my collections of these die cats cars. I have quite a few actually, that from what I can see other would enjoy more then me, since they are sitting in a cupboard collecting dust.

Hello All,

The owner of the MC Vert (posted above) stated he wanted gloss black bumper letters instead of flat black. So, I resprayed them last night. Here is a picture for reference. Some folks want to "see" how flat or gloss looks against certain colors. So, figured I would post pictures.
