Had two weeks off so far and got TONS of work done on my house. Got my car prepped and ready for the race track this Wednesday which will remain open for us members. Wife got a raise due to being essential and it sounds like I'm going back to work mid April.

And its sunny and warm out. I feel truly terrible for those affected negatively but this situation has been awesome for me.
me too man. we just moved and I want to do many things to the house haha. Current project is paint. We just bought some "killz" primer along with a light beige color. Currently the house is "peach" inside LOL

Amen on the positive note OP. I am alive and relatively free, have a wonderful wife, the kids are healthy and happy. My business has not taken too much of a hit so far because of all of the turmoil going on right now. I have the peace of God even through it all. Congrats on the Arizona home man. Nice idea for a thread!
it sounds like you are blessed my friend. We are lucky to be alive indeed. I always say "if you wake up out of bed, it's a great day!"

I enjoy cracking a cold beer and listening to bob marley haha. And also I will admit bob ross ....
Now that it looks like the stay-at-policy will extend at least through the month of April, I'm using the time here at home as an opportunity to catch up on stuff I haven't had time to get done. I'm still doing job-related stuff from home, but because the office is closed I have less work to do overall. Same with my wife. We're making the stay-at-home requirement as positive a thing as we can.

I instantly thought of this song when I saw this thread. Don't worry! Be happy! :)

Well for the last month and a half I have essentially been isolated working off site for a company I do business with. So it was nice to finish that and continue to live that sort of lifestyle.
I realize now that selling the mustang in January was a good move, just for financial reasons.

This whole virus thing has actually gotten me outside more doing little projects, exercising and enjoying the slower paced lifestyle.
And I must say that going to Pensacola back in the first week of this month was like threading a needle on time.

Things are going as smooth as I could wish for, to be honest.
  • work is relatively recession proof, which is rare(ish) for tech. No indication that any of our jobs are at risk and our core business is very stable.
  • our CEO has been super supportive and has put all employees + our community above business, within reason.
  • most importantly, I've been working remote full time for the past 4 weeks (our company started earlier than the mandates), which has allowed me to spend far more time with my 10 week old daughter.

Since I’m working from home I decided to go down to my parents lake house and work there. Much warmer, and get to watch the water/boats.
AND THIS!!!

A10-Warthog! The first one went past even lower and closer! It was awesome.

With everyone in mass pretty much sheltered and working at home it’s given them plenty of time to think about all those home projects to get done. My May and June are completely booked.

I have sold just under 90k worth of contracted work booked in those two months. Up over 30% from normal.

Making lemonade out of lemons I guess.

Learned to make beer bread...Amazing. Told my wife to leave the bread machine in the cabinet.

3 cups of flour(sifted)
3 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 cup of sugar
1 pinch of Saltiness

Mix this shit up with your favorite beer beverage, 1 can.

Pour in a greased pan and pour 1 stick melted butter on top.

Cook 45m on 375...BAM..best bread you ever had.

Don't be using none of that Corona-19 beer either.

Awesome, thanks, man!

Saw yours and had nothing to do so....
Added some grated cheddar into the batter and on top. I think you are really onto something here. Good job and thanks for posting yours.

Awesome!!!! Yeah it’s definitely awesome. I tried to make a grilled cheese but didn’t work out great. Honestly it’s just awesome warmed up in the microwave all by itself.

Don't let this thread die, lol.

Wife put me to work the last two days. Dug up...or should I say pulled out...Truck and a Chain...these nasty ass bushes that came with house. Been in this house 4 years..it was time. Replaced it with names of bushes/plants only wife knows. We also have some rose tree on order for the right corner. Very happy with the outcome and well worth all the scratches and work. :)
