Google is now publishing coronavirus mobility reports, feeding off users’ location history – TechCrunch

Already knew this but fun to see them stepping out into the open. Not a paranoid person but every "good use" has a dark one.

Hate to be @tt335ci03cobra but crazy to see how far you could take this. Not hard to make this not anonymous and track who is doing what. (I mean not like this wasn't already going on for advertising purposes) I'm in NY and dont see a real lock down being outside the realm at some point.

Getting pretty serious around here...

Tracking must be by way of your phone,............which I rarely remember to carry.
I haven't changed my usual routine @ all, go where I need to go, when I need to go, no issues so far....... Looking forward to being stopped !!

Not much has changed where I live. I believe I heard some of the coworkers talk about a stay at home order last week but havent seen it enforced. Small town

Not much has changed here and our state is under a "stay at home" order. I still go to work as usual and although I have seen a slight reduction in traffic, it doesn't seem like much. The wife and I hopped on the bike and rode a couple hundred miles this past weekend. I am trying to stay away from people the best I can but in the auto business its almost impossible, just gotta be careful to sanitize and avoid contact

We have a stay at home order lite...we can make essential trips to the grocery store, pharmacy etc

I'm planning on going fishing tomorrow lol...the state is cool with fishing so long as ya distance...and I'll be solo so it's all good

this but there's still a ton of idiots using all the workout stations on the walking trail, so many people walking theyre all shoulder to shoulder etc... lowes is slammed every time I drive past. I feel like there's bound to be a crack down on some of this. At this point just keep a pack of TP or Clorox wipes in a grocery bag and you've got your pass to go wherever you want.

I fully intend to take the mustang out for a cruise this afternoon, guess we'll see what happens

Stay six feet away from people, wear a mask, don't leave your home but lets continue allowing New York and New Jersey citizens entry into PA? Yesterday on the I81 I saw a chinaman driving a mini van with N.Y. tags. He was wearing a hat like you saw in Predator or if you archery hunt with the string that goes under your chin and you pull it tight. He was doing a piss poor job of hiding his face though I can't blame him for trying. Hazleton is now a hot spot and the National Guard needs to come in and enforce a curfew. The illegals and minorities traveling back and forth to the island are to blame for the mess but what did the media blame it on? The language barrier and those oh so poor people not knowing to stay home. Pathetic.

I got a chuckle as the neighborhood kid must have found his old Trek in some corner of his parents garage. The bike had a coating of dust, the chain was desperate for oil, and barely had any air in the tires. But he was free. It’s like everyone has rediscovered the great outdoors.

It's like this for me...I hate to go anywhere...I love my castle and love to stay in it. This is a great excuse NOT TO GO SHOPPING WITH MY WIFE. I play that shit to a T let me tell you. I got more shit to do at home than I have time...STILL. This is a WIN. Maybe it's the isolation I've had in the Navy I don't know. But living with 60 other men on a Minehunter and Minesweeper with zero privacy and then being at HOME...easy day. I use to fantasy about using a shitter or shower in privacy. Ever tried to get a nut in silence? Am I breathing too hard??? This dude in the next rack hear me? Then take into account I pretty much hate people...ya'll cool...but people...yeah no. #Coronacation :)

my dad was nuclear power on a sub that went under for months at a time, he's just fine with being home alone as well!
Im glad to be working but I wouldnt be mad if I had a couple days to myself to do some stuff around the house.

Since I am still working, I was going to work as normal. The family and I go walking on trails, which a ton of other people do as well. We go to the store and get a few things at a time (since I refuse to be a hoarder).

Starting next week though, I will be working from home.

I don't mind being home when it is just me but it is tough when all of us are home. My wife, kids and I share a house with my sister, brother in law and their kids. So their are 8 people here. Not exactly easy to be home all the time haha.

However, as time goes on I am getting more and more adverse to the idea of a lockdown. Others may feel it is becoming more necessary but freedom means more to me than safety.

Haven't really changed much. I still work mon-fri. But the commute has gotten a lot easier. I wouldn't mind if those able to work from home keep working from home after this is over. I still go to the store as needed. But I'm mostly a home body anyway. Although I did a cruise with a couple friends last weekend that was fun.

I'm going about my days as normal minus my weekly trip to the brewery for dinner with a buddy. My second job was shut down so I'm home earlier than normal at night and am using the time to get projects done.

There is a stay at home order here in Phoenix but it's so full of holes that it's not stopping anybody. It's unrealistic to expect most of society to shelter in place without causing long term economical ramifications.

It probably is necessary to lockdown, but we are gutting the economy. Be ironic to save a boomer from covid only to have them suicide because they lost the nest egg.
