AFIFK that's not true. As far as empty temp hospitals a lot of them aren't being utilized yet. Actual hospitals around here are packed. Both my Mom (Fla) and girl's Mom are nurses (ICU NY) and say it's pretty serious. Supposedly NY is averaging a Corona death less than every 5 minutes which is pretty nuts. Granted that's just a clever way of presenting a statistic to make it appear worst.

Honestly I'm in the "try my best but if I get it I get" camp. Liqour stores are still open so not too bad haha. Everything else but groceries and HD/Lowes is shut. Can still find groceries if you look in the right places. Costco has a 30 minute wait to get in.

I dunno taking it seriously I have a good immune system and hardly get sick. With that said I have respiratory issues since birth so when I do it doesnt go well. If you've never experienced breathing "normal" but still having your blood oxygen levels dropping it's pretty scary.

Bring some proof and not some shit you’re reasoning.

People are filming the busiest big-city U.S. hospitals.

Bars and restaurants have been closed for a few weeks. Pretty much anything retail is closed minus homedepots package stores grocery and gas. No one is working in their office. There’s not many people out on the roads.

Other then essential businesses, everything is closed. I have been working from home and going for a rip in my car when I get bored/cabin fever.

WSU did a model, between the Boeing 737 max (we build 70% of 737) and Corona, they expect up to 34% of the Wichita metro area to be let go or laid off.
Hopefully they are wrong, but the town seems shut down, aside from the higher than normal amount of people outside walking the neighborhood when it's nice out.

The nursing home in the next town had 15 deaths. So sad.
But, marking EVERY death as a Chinese virus is horrible. Why would the government make the nurses/doctors do this?? Isn't that punishable by law about lying of cause of death?? That's horrible.
The government(s) are doing lots of illegal shit right now, most dealing with the First Amendment. The lockdown here is not enforced. But hopefully municipal and state governments involved in this...umm..."thing" will face a shitstorm of lawsuits in the near future.

Yeah,.......I LOVE my Country.
The government,......well,............

Wow... some people in here seem to be living in their own world.. I work on medical equipment in these hospitals, NYP - Westchester - Hackensack etc... placers are packed.. converted cafeteria into patient rooms to help as many people as possible. They have even started hauling patients to Albany area. Hospitals bringing in refrigerated trailers for the dead bodies... I wonder if some people in here had a family member infected would have a different outlook..
I heard that they are bringing in 87 more refigerated trailers for the dead??

We are supposed to be only going out for food and stuff. My wife and I go for a run around our neighborhood a few times a week, but it isn't around other people. My wife was able to order groceries online from Walmart and go pick them up today so that was better than going in and walking around. We have been doing take out as well. My wife is pretty freaked out by all of this so we are self isolating pretty well.

Was in the hardware store and the place had at least 10 people above 70 buying lawn care stuff. People are not taking essential travel very seriously here.

The wife and I are "essential", so it's been business as usual for us. AZ has about 2,019 cases and has had roughly 52 deaths. The hospital ER's, where my wife works, have been experiencing fewer than normal patients, as a result of COVID-19 and the stay at home orders. In fact, staffers are being called off of work and others have been going home early.

Like most everywhere else, grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, restaurants (take-out only), and banks, etc., are open. Spa's, hair salons, and barber shops were ordered to close yesterday.

I haven't heard anything about actual enforcement of the stay at home order, such as citations or arrest.

Oh, our gun stores and ranges are still open too.

Still holding the primary election in WI on Tuesday.

I'm an Election Inspector for our city and had signed-up for a double shift (14 hrs). Last week I sent an email to the Election Judge and City Clerk to take me off the list to work. Wife and I already voted by absentee ballot.

4/4/20 data for the 6 surrounding counties to my place:
24 positives/1020 tested = 2.3% positives and 0 deaths

IDK, maybe I made a bad decision.

Gonna be like that for months bro. Easily till June.
The industrial park I work in is empty. The roads are empty and most parking lots are empty.
I drive by a Home Depot everyday going home and they have A LOT of the rental equipment sitting on their lot. Usually those things are all rented out. Now they're sitting.

I work in Tampa, TGH is FAR from packed. Infact my sister is a nurse there and has been cancelled till Friday. I’m a Firefighter Paramedic. Most of these “corona calls” we have been running are bullshit. I don’t buy the hype and fake news media propaganda

The land of commies and socialists!
My wife and I are homebodies so being "locked down" hasn't really impacted us especially since we are essential.

The one thing I do like is there are substantially less people on the road so I guess we are getting an idea of what its like to live in a state with a smaller population.

Work is actually nicer because I have far fewer people in my plant to worry about since we kicked all the contactors out. Much less stuff to worry about.

My work has kicked around the idea of sending half of us home for 2 weeks then swapping out. I would love to be sent home so I can get caught up on house stuff.

The most annoying part for me is not being able to buy what I want at the store. Went in for some basic stuff and wanted to smoke a brisket but I couldn't buy more then 2 of the same meat item. So burger and some tri tip (bulk) it was since it will last us longer.

MA mayor just announced a curfew in our state.
No one outside between the hours of 9pm to 6am. I knew it was a matter of time before that happened.

I'm not sure. I didn't catch the full update. I'm not out at that time except for going to work a little before 6am, in which I have a governmental letter/card to excuse me from the curfew. Only working 3 days a week now with the Chinese virus.
But, yeah, it's gonna suck if it gets stricter. I hope this Chinese virus passes ASAP!!!
