Didn't know of a better title.

Thought it would be cool to share/remember products that used to be available for the SVT/older cars/trucks. Some still pop up for sale (BBS RK), some not so much (Ford Racing gauge cluster). I've had a few moments where I wish I would've kept a car or the specific couple of parts off of it. This also goes for weird/rare OEM parts too.

Anyone have the same experience? I had a set of pristine Recaro netted headrests I left on a GT I sold. Should've swapped those out and kept them.

I wish I would have bought Bullitt side scoops and side skirts when they were still available.

Should have grabbed a set of new cobra side skirts as well back in the day.

Found out speed of sound stopped doing doing their a pillar mods for the older cars last December so that's a big one.

Some OEM carpet for the 99-04 cars would have been nice to have as the ACC stuff fits like crap.

I could go on and on about this stuff but those are the big ones to me. I could have picked up multiples of each and easily covered my cost down the line and maybe even made some money.

Speed of sound pillar pods is a big one for me too. There's not really any aftermarket pillar setup I like more than theirs, and the rest look like crap.

Remember the Autometer Lunar gauges for the '03-'04 Cobra? Back in the day they were a popular choice, and then a few years later they were discontinued. They perfectly matched the factory gauge color at night. I had a 3-gauge A-pillar pod setup on my '03 Cobra. Always loved how they looked.

I grabbed a few sets of OEM headlights because you just never know, also a couple cobra 3rd brake lights, afs 18 mach 1 reps nib just in case I ever find a clean mach in CO, and new oem drivers side window switches for when they wear out. I really wish I grabbed an extra chin spoiler, a spare convertible top, saleen boost, temp, oil pressure and air temp guages and a extra factory radio or 2.

Side note, SOS stopped their mail in program??? This is upsetting if it's true, I have two A pillars boxed up ready to ship to them, just never got around to it. They are definitely the best looking pillar out there.

- Fully dressed Aluminator long block replacement for the Terminator engine from Ford Racing.

- Terminator lower pulley assembly.

- Terminator oil cooler assembly.

- Terminator aluminum radiator.

Lol pretty much any NOS Terminator-specific hard parts...

Cool thread

I had a chance years ago to buy a 93 cobra hatch with wing, rear bumper cover, and side molding for $500.

I passed cause i didn’t want the hatch and glass and the seller would not separate the wing off it.

I just got an email from them last week saying they stopped doing the mail in conversions in December. I also agree all the other setups look like crap. I am now kicking myself for not sending mine in years ago.

Oem headlights can still be found thankfully. I just bought a set a few months back from Ford parts giant. They weren't cheap but I know they'll fit. I wonder how much longer we'll be able to get them.

I wonder if we could contact the owner and get a one time group buy going?

Edit*

I just emailed SOS to see if a group buy would be possible. Crossing my fingers.

I actually did the same. When I posted. I have 2 coupe pillars ready to be shipped out. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Make a post for sure if that's the case. I'll jump in. I need a couple gauge spots for my Terminator swap when it comes time.

13-14 instrument cluster for a swap into my 2011 GT500. Had it and the ABS module purchased from a member here.

Then a GTR went and wrecked me at the track. Sold it to fund the repair.

They appear to be rare as the Dickins now on the used market. Is what it is.

Huh that's an interesting one. I never really noticed the clusters being all that different.

13-14 featured a small screen that displayed all kinds of cool data as well as well as controlling track apps. It also displayed a Cobra logo on startup (mustang in the 13s, but could be flashed to show a cobra). Also, showed a top speed of 220 mph. My 2011 only goes to 160. :(
