Just a quick pic of my 2013 Boss 302. First mustang I ever rode in was my neighbors 70 Boss 302. Couldn’t afford one when they came out as I was in the Marines making $300 a week. Hard work pays off. Have all the original owners kit and keys for it too. I’ve had a 13 GT500, Whipple S550 etc and this ones my favorite. Just needs a small Paxton and it will be perfect :)

300/wk in 1970 sounds pretty good money to me ‍♂️

School bus yellow looks great on these cars. Cobra Jet kit, and full exhaust is the only thing I’d do engine wise. Then focus on suspension to make it handle on rails.
I agree, the Boss is my number one pick for a mustang newer than 09. 12 Comp Orange, yes please.

Congrats on the car! Curious on why you favor the boss 302 over your 13 GT500 and whippled S550?

Awesome ride. I had a 13 Boss for 7 years. I honestly loved the car. Such a fun to drive car. Best of luck with it.

Looks good. I’ve always preferred the 13 over the 12, and 70 over the 69 (Boss 302 model only in that case)

When I was debating putting money down on the GT500, I had some definite second thoughts because of how well everyone regarded the Boss.

Congratulations on realizing your dream to own a Boss. That's a mighty nice looking one. Great color, of course. Man, 6500 miles is REALLY low.

lol this was in 2011. Actually it was probably like $375, I can’t remember.

the S550 was too refined for my liking. Awesome car but not my taste. The GT500 was a good car too but it didn’t have Recaros. I still peep the classifieds and if I come across a glass roof car with Recaros I may grab it up. I definitely miss the torque and the TR6060

I think that’s why I’m so in love with it, I know it gets paper by the newer cars but it’s such a blast to drive.

I’ve been eying that setup, with the CJ cams and E85 they can touch 500rwhp too. I wanted a 12 but at the time I couldn’t find any with low miles like I wanted. Maybe in my next life!

Beautiful Boss. I'm very much thinking about trading in my Shelby for one. preferably a '13, and boosted already, but either way they are underrated cars for sure

I’ll tell you this... below triple digits the Boss can hang with some pretty fast cars... I ran 11.82 in mine all stock on drag radials.
