I had the 2011-2012 Steeda strut brace...didnt fit over the bigger 2650. Anyone using a strut brace that fits over the new gen 3?

When I removed my stock supercharger for a TVS, I never put the strut tower brace back on. The factory braces weren't very beefy and I think it looks better without.
I’d love to hear feedback on this also. When I put the Trinity blower on my car the stock brace wouldn’t fit anymore with my intake. I’d really like to put one back on my car.
Lowered motor mounts maybe?
Anyone?
I removed my strut brace when I put my BPS elbow on my Trinity. It no longer cleared since the radius is different.
That being said, I have not noticed any difference with it off. These are pretty stiff cars.
While I am sure some road race guys will argue with me, most normal people will not notice the difference other than cosmetics

I know Steeda sells one that fits over a Whipple, which is a little taller than the TVS blowers. Debating trying it but it's big bucks. $300+
Hmmm, Curious as to how it works and still clearing a stock hood?
My clamp on my JLT just started touching my hood since adding my BPS elbow. I would say that would be a sign there is not too much clearance to the hood unless the Steeda angles forward more or back more instead of straight across
Where did yours hit? Mine cleared fine over the Trinity and my JLT with the stock elbow. I think my JLT is a 127mm
The one that Steeda sells is just for Mustangs with a Whipple. It doesn't specify GT500's. My gut is that nothing will fit with no more clearance...
A Whipple on a coyote is going to sit a lot lower in the bay, as the coyote has a shorter deck height.
My stock one fits over my Whipple 2.9. Have you tried going back to stock?
What year GT500 do you have?

I have a 2014 gt500 with vmp gen 3 with Ford racing strut brace. Had to grind just a little on the bottom to clear housing. Can’t see from top side
How much taller are the different TVS blowers? I have a gen 1 and the Ford Racing strut tower brace with plenty of clearance now.
I don’t think the Gen3 is that much taller than the stock blower.
That said I don’t think it’s worth running a strut tower brace anyway.
