Has anyone fit dual DW400 pumps in their GT500? I have a fair amount of searching and can't find anything. I know the pumps are physically much larger which would require modifying the hat or fabricating one.

I know the DW300’s fit the stock hat, but lots of guys had problems with them on stock lines.
My hunch is even if you can get these to fit in the stock hat, too much volume/flow through too little lines is gonna burn the pumps up.
Personally I wouldn’t go that large without larger lines.

This may not answer your question in the least bit, but something to keep in mind if that is the original intent.

I have the DW300's in my car and that doesn't help you on the 400's but I didn't see much increase with the 300's over the stock pumps. it was enough to give me a safety margin and it was fairly cheap and easy to do so it was worth it for me. No issues running them about 4 years on E85.

I talked to DW about this at PRI and at that point you can send them your stock hat and they would modify.
DW did recently release new products.
The DW400 is a bad dude, and 2 on E85 would support 1000hp easily.
Have you called DW or Fore?
I’d have no problem running DW products (like stock on the Cobra Jet) and personally run a Fore triple Walbro 465 system at over 1000rwhp.
Good luck.

I will contact both of them and see if they have any input. I am just looking for options to upgrade the fuel system for my TVS upgrade. I plan upgraded fuel rails and probably fuel line if needed to keep from blowing it off the pumps.

I have a ported gen 1 TVS that I am putting on. Once I get a motor built(couple years yet) I plan on a VMP IIIR. At that time I plan to go with a return style system and probably E85. I am just looking to maximize my set up on the factory short block.

I’d say skip big pumps at this point then and just do injectors and bap.
Your gonna replace the pumps anyway when you go return style.
Or just do return style now.
An unported 2.3 is only gonna go so far on pump gas.
My fear is bigger pumps on stock lines is gonna cause more problems than you think they will cure.
Plenty of guys getting into the 700’s on baps and just bigger injector.
5.8 guys dip into 800’s on their stock pumps and they aren’t all that much bigger than ours.

Mine is actually ported. I do see your point though. I want to make sure I am spending money the smartest and keep things safe.

So yea, ported you can make some steam, but your not gonna do it on pump gas
My advise is just leave the fuel as is and save for return style. It just doesn’t make sense to have big pumps on small lines and pump gas.
Just throwing money into the wind.
This is all just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.

Either way you got a badass setup! Good luck man.

I agree with PM here. I don’t know as much about the ‘07-12 pumps, but the stock ‘13-14s go a long way before you go return for E85.
I have rails and a KB comp BAP and stock ‘14 injectors.
Only used for about 1000 miles before Fore return.

Off the top of my head:
Stock 07-12 pumps are twin 189's
Stock 13-14 pumps are twin 255's

together I think they are rated for 20% less than the sum because adding 2 does not mean double the lph for some reason.
Now when you overdrive them with some voltage you probably get another +20% flow or so.
My math may be off, but you get the point I am sure.

I'm running triple Hellcat pumps in a billet hat, one runs continuos, the other two come on under boost, return style setup. I imagine you could do it with the DW400's too.
