I just bought a Milwaukee 1/2" 18v impact gun.

I almost pushed the check out button on a wet plate system for the 04 but not knowing when the tracks will open has me on the fences

Bought a Mavic Pro 2 drone with all accessories. Looks like a need a license or permit.

Nice. You wont need a license though unless you want to fly commercially. You do have to register it with the FAA. Its $5 for 3 years. I haven't followed drone news for about 2 months but they were working on requiring a knowledge test you have to take to fly. Probably not in effect yet with everything going on.

Y’all have seen what I’ve done I’m sure. My wife had ordered a ton of makeup and crap from amazon. She said she was going to be beautiful, I said “ keep buying.” That didn’t go over well. That said, no delays at all in the shipping. Next day, or the next.
Lmao see what happens when you give the green light for the credit card.

I got one a little bit ago that I've yet to play with. I see myself getting a little aggressive and it crashes into a tree 1/4th mile from my house and I'm screwed. LOL

This drone is supposed to be awesome. Never had or flown one, but always wanted to get one for some of the great videos Ive seen. Im reading about the FAA laws for Hobby or Commercial and State laws. Regardless, I need to Register the drone then decide my what my mission is...hobby or commercial....hmmm...so many choices.

I've never flown one either. I just actually went to go look what I have, it's the Phantom 3 standard. Only reason I didn't remember is I didn't buy it, I won it. Clarion, the car stereo company had a FB contest I clicked the link, and was the hit with "all this is too much work.....which is why maybe no one else will enter?" They basically filmed a 45 second commercial of a guy driving a 90's NSX through the hills of CA at dusk, and then it just suddenly stopped. They wanted users to submit in a couple sentences how you would finish the commercial ...seemed easy to me. In more words I quickly wrote he goes to work M-F, emotionless, office space like, hates life, until friday after work he returns to a storage unit, rolls up the door, sees the NSX, smiles, and takes off for another drive. Got an email like a month later I got second I think and the drone was on it's way. I've just yet to mess with it. I tossed the box on a shelf, and almost have forgotten about it.

I looked yours up. Made by DJI..the same company that makes the Mavic. Your drone seems like a nice one. I see a P3 that is about $200 and the one you have is about $700....has a very good camera on it. Still reading licensing. Think Ill get my FAA Part 107 certification to fly as hobby or commercial. Feds require registration regardless to fly. Seems pretty easy. I get mine in a few days...kind of stoked.

Yeah, that's another thing I never looked into. I feel I'll be fine flying in in front of my house and simply practice stuff, but if I want to go to a beach and get some high shots, or some video of my car...then just maybe it makes sense to get the license.

Since COVID hit, I've rebuilt my deck and the fence around my pool equipment (filter, pump, heater, etc), then today I picked up an original 1994 Russian Imported SVD and new Vortex 1-10x24 scope. I need to go back to work full time...

Not sure if you're recreational flying you really need a 107. If you're under 400' not really much of an issue unless you're in a landing path of a local airport, in which case the DJI software won't let you fly anyway. If you're serious about the 107 check out FAA Drone Certification Test Prep | Drone Pilot Ground School. Little pricey (my company paid) but I'd say 1/3 of the test questions were questions in their practice tests. Got a like a 95 in just over a hour. Or PM me might have some of the practice tests laying around ;) Took like 2-3 nights of studying but without prep I'd see it taking awhile trying to figure out what to expect. Anyway....

Stupid purchases...
Picked up a 3rd Acer Z321QU before you can't get them so I have matching monitors. Nice entry level monitor if you want 144+Hz, 1440 and G-Sync. Better on the market but when you're buying 3....
Next trying to figure out if I want a TS-XW wheel or just step up and blow my wad on a Fanatec Clubsport. Fanatec is definetly the way to go but at ~$1300 for a set up starts to make my question how much I'll really use it.
Always liked Forza but racing with a controller is trash. Not sure if I want to dump the Fanatec coin not already being deep in the hobby. TS-XW might be a comprise. Although I keep getting the "If you cheap out it will suck and you won't use it" feeling.
