How would Tesla afford to buy ford?

Tesla generated $24.6 billion in revenue in 2019, buoyed by a fourth quarter revenue figure of just shy of $7.4 billion. Teslastill didn't turn an annual profit— in fact, it lost $862 million in 2019. But that was better than the $1 billion loss the company posted in 2018.

I would be one of the last to defend Tesla, but its stock is about 7 times more valuable than ford, and its hemorrhaging way less money than ford. Wouldn't be the first time a paper value company used that paper value to buy out a real company whose management was dropping the ball.

Think AOL time warner. Tesla has the new stuff, like AOL. Ford is stumbling and needs, or thinks it needs the new stuff, and Tesla gets a big car company that, when properly managed, has been a cash cow. Maybe its just because im so old, but I've seen this show before. Not saying its going to happen, just saying it could, and It has before. BTW, in my opinion it allowed AOL funny money to become Time Warner real money, abet at a significant markdown over the next few years.

Back to the 0 and 84 discussion, I too am looking to get something to replace my explorer, either another SUV, or a 4 door truck. I also need mileage more than towing. Hoping when we start the country reopen there will be something they are giving away so cheap I have to buy. Previously, it would have only been a Ford, now Im open.

I really like the Ranger...and an F150 with the 2.7 10-speed. They probably get the same MPG. Id go for a CC Ranger or SC F150. Should be some smoking Deals out there.

Tesla has no money. Elon has taken over 200 private flights in 90 days trying to find funds. They’ve never made a profit and as stated when their stock went from $300 to $900 on the news it lost only $800 million last year.
Now we find out it has no sales/deliveries it’s all one big con the Elon other companies funded by the government are holding up Tesla. Now out of desperation they are leveraging the stock as collateral which has no intrinsic value. Ponzi scheme not a business.

Also ford had 30 billion in cash, and $15 billion line of credit. Tesla has nothing.

Saw a blip saying employee pricing on JEEP.
Not on the rubicon. It saves about $2k on a $45k Jeep. They’ve had this for a couple weeks now.

EcoDiesel Ram 1500 and get the extra warranty. 3rd gen eco diesels seem to be fairly peppy and no real issues.

If someone is looking for a Dodge/Ram/Fiat, my local St Cloud, MN dealership is SWIMMING in inventory. They are spilled out onto the grass of the gravel pit next to them and double parked on the lot, you can barely drive the lot.

They have got to be making screaming deals for serious customers.

Wanted to buy this this tremor really bad. Best offer after back and forth for 2 days was 58 and no special financing. Take rebate or 0% for 36 months. WTF is wrong with Ford.

2020 Ford F-250SD XLT in Woodbine, NJ | Philadelphia Ford F-250SD | Gentilini Ford Inc

So I went and bought this truck instead for 11 GRAND off the sticker. Leftover 2019 but the price was definitely right. Ram is doing deals. You can have 0% at 84 months or rebates but you cant have both.

That's a nice freaking truck

I wouldn't buy a new Ford. Not with all the bone headed decisions they've made recently.

On the Ram though you can get thousands off from the dealer and financing you just can’t get the $11k off and financing. Hell of a truck!!
