Great post! It seems on this section you're not allowed to say anything positive about the 2020+ cars without the resident troll showing up to run his mouth. If he were banned from posting in this section there would be an immediate pick up in interactions.

While the barrier to entry has gotten pretty high on this car it's pretty clear that the engine is very under-stressed from the factory. It runs a paltry 12-psi on that 2650.

You work for CNN? Stop your crying like a damn high schooler.

State your opinion and assert it with facts. Back and forth discussion ensues. That’s how this works.

Otherwise you’re just another crybaby who doesn’t like the taste of medicine.

Feel free to find another forum to go troll on. You and another are literally ruining this one.

What's the suggested safe street PSI with simple bolt-ons, non-E85, to run on these? 16? 18?

Depends on several factors but if not willing to run E85, I’d personally leave the stock pulley and focus on ways to more efficiently work with the boost you have.
For example, 15# of boost and about 17* timing is generally safe on a previous Gen GT500, but these 2020 5.2s are closer to Gen 2 Coyote cars.

Only one way to tell, let’s see that trap mph.

Man I can’t wait til DCT tuning is unlocked.
I’m sick of seeing the ‘launch control’ where the car basically falls on its face, bogs and gradually comes on, like a rookie stick driver on street tires.
Gotta lose close to a full second in these big power cars.
Plus I’m sure it’s holding back cars from the roll too.
Torque management may save the trans, but I know it kills performance even in the auto 6R/10R cars.
Someone has gotta be willing to say ‘F it’ and push the DCT to the max eventually. A new unit is $15-20k, but ideally we will see rebuild/upgrade options like other crazy power DCT platforms (GTR, UGR Lamborghini/Audi).
I’m really ready to find a car like LostM to play with my 1000rwhp manual ‘14 GT500 this year. Should be a lot of fun, especially how these 315/50/17 MT ETRs hook.

Drove my buddys 2020 yesterday and from 45mph in 2nd, that thing really shits and gets. Very impressive. Even more impressive is the DCT. I absolutely love it.
I can't imagine what this car would be like with some mods.
Time to talk to my dealer for a 2021. Unfortunately, the shutdown is going to push things way back.

Yeah I want to order a 2021 and order banks normally open like June, but with the Shutdown im hearing they'll be making 2020's up until Dec to catch up. So who knows when they'll be taking orders for 2021
