I thought this was a very enjoyable action movie. Randeep Hooda is great in the movie even though he does not appear in the trailer as much as Hemsworth who's performance was also very good imo.

I thought it was a lot of fun.

It felt to me like one of those extremely over the top Bollywood films but this time, there was an experienced, American producer in the background reining it in just enough to keep it action packed without being completely outlandish.

It was good flick, however it looked that Thor's M16 (or similar) was lot more deadly than Mjölnier Hammer for sure.

I don't think I would watch it again. But I liked it.

I don't see how being blasted in the neck, then falling into the river (all sorts of bacteria) that he would survived. I am guessing it was more of like how Hemsworth saw his kid throughout the movie. Granted he was not seeing his kid in the current world.

Also the chick would get the business.

The writers and the director wanted Rake to die. However, Netflix higher ups and test Audiences didn't like that clear cut end for the character. so it was left ambiguous on purpose. Who knows, maybe Netflix would want a sequel if this movie does well enough in their criteria.

Fight scenes were good. Good story too, but it had the potential to be much better than it was...

Yeah, I feel same way. It was pretty good. Too much make-believe, but entertaining in a mindless sort of way.

Here's my question: after Ovi got kidnapped, it seemed like Saju was the guy that called in the services of Tyler, and yet it was Saju that killed the crew of the boat, and then Saju tried to kill Tyler...... and then later Tyler called him and asked for his help, and they ended up as comrades? Why was Saju hindering Tyler's extraction op in the first place?

Saju's boss's assets were frozen, so they didn't have the money to pay the ransom outright.

It also meant that he didn't have the money to pay the extraction team.

He hired them with the plan to kill them and snatch Ovi from under their noses. So Ovi gets saved, his son gets saved, and he doesn't have to pay anyone with money he doesn't have.

Thank you for that explanation! I was scratching my head, muttering WTF about that situation. It didn't make any sense. It's still pretty far fetched, but I can understand some of the logic now. Thanks again.

It's hard seeing Hemsworth in a tactical setting but he actually did his homework as far as weapons handling goes and some of the tactics used. Obviously a lot of it was outlandish on purpose but it is always cool to see some realism thrown in. The movie reminded me a lot of Blackhat in that it appears as a lower budget foreign flick, but pleasantly surprises you with how well done it is. Still love the ending knife kill in Blackhat. Probably the best part of that movie.
