WTB: 03/04 Steering Rack

Just like the title says, i'm looking to buy a terminator steering rack to put in my fox. Cant seem to find any at the part stores anymore.

Ratio is the same as the mach. Terminators had stops that prohibited full travel, due to there tire size. A mach can turn inside a cobra turning radius.

I tried to buy a terminator rack in 07 from ford and couldn't. I finally located new in the box racks from a ford race program spare parts supply. Stamped housing numbers match the mach. I have done my own ratio testing and also aware of steering shaft bushings difference. I really hope you could find a NOS rack, but believe it is a wild goose chase. Good luck though!

yea i may end up just buying a GT rack, im sure it will still be a huge upgrade over the fox rack

FWIW- I just had to replace the rack in my 04. And it seems the rack 03/04 rack is damn near impossible to find through Ford. Aftermarket was not much better, I wound up going with a reman from NAPA (rebuilt by cardone). They did have a separate part number for the 03/04 cobra vs the GT of the same years. The stamping on the passenger side is not the same as my factory rack however, The ratio is correct to the factory rack, and the feel is every bit as good as it was factory. But I have no way of honestly knowing if the internals are true 03/04 specs.
