Wrapped up the power steering and started pulling all the parts.

The upper ic pipe isnt sealing as well as i hoped so im going to make a back up upper ic pipe just encase the oval doesnt work out.

Why is it so fast to take apart but takes sooo long to go together haha.

So the 3in to 4.5in oval I made has been in the back of my mind that maybe it doesn't seal. so I ended up beating it with a hammer and rounding it out more so the coupling would grab then bent and welded a lip so the coupler cant slip off.

After all of this I found some spare tubing and maf mount so i made a secondary pipe encase the oval has issues. I hid the maf under the pipe this time for a cleaner look

Nice work, looks great!
Just a heads up on the PS reservoir You might need a baffle, the factory one is well engineered with a screen in the bottom and a baffle to keep the fluid from aerating. We fabbed one like yours and ended up with aeration and it really chews up the pump and screws up the hydroboost and PS. (starts feeling like manual).
Just something to look out for.

New water pump and tensioner paints along with the timing cover. letting it all dry before new accessories go on, then finally able to put the merge pipe in and move along.

New FIC1200s on but find a broken EV6 plug on cyclendar 8 on my harness so I'll need to fix that as well.

some progress updates. merge pipe in, intake all done, wiring mostly complete.

decided to salvage my power steering tank amd cut the bottom amd side you wont see to put a baffle in. Of course came to this decision after i made a power steering bracket for the factory res.

Everything looks great!
One question though. Why such a large power steering reservoir? Or is it the angle of the pics. I have the same wire hand brush that is laying next to it in the pic and it makes the PS reservoir look like it's close to the same size as a radiator over flow tank.
Thanks
Edit:
Nevermind, just noticed the hammer on the pic. I'm guessing that wire brush is more of a tooth brush size and not the larger hand brush I thought it was.

tooth brush size haha. its that big because it was some spare material i had and it matches the coolant res.

Getting some progress between zoom meetings, working from home, 2 kids, and married life hahaha. Really happy to see how things are coming together.

Ended up welding the baffle on the power steering tank but the gloss get messed up where the tape was, also from the heat, so back to powder coating it went.

Which MM K member are you using? It clears the CG Fab hot side?

Standard Kmember with offset. the passenger side is super ****in close to the frame rail. ill end up head wrapping the brake lines so the headers dont cook them
