I always thought wages were quite a bit lower in Florida?

You can get a really nice place for 300k with a great pool and everything. Well, at least from the eyes of someone from the Midwest.

I wouldn't hesitate to move there with a decent job lined up.

Edit: I've been looking on and off for a duplex/triplex to swing a deal. I'd really like to get out of Michigan for the winter months. Maybe one day.
