They’re too good for us, but nevertheless I’m grateful we have them with us. A cat was put on this earth so that man would know he wasn’t the center of the universe. A dog was put on this earth so man would know unconditional love.

Dogs>people any day. How people treat dogs is the worse. See it everyday and it is heartbreaking.

Made me tear up...

There's nothing more I look forward to everyday than my dogs greeting me when I come home from work. I don't know who's more happy, them or me.

Well, yes, children will greet you and be happy to see you. What happens as they grow up usually changes. They get unappreciative and forget about Mom and Dad when they hit teenage years. Friends are more important, etc. They don't get all excited to see is anymore. Dogs on the other hand, will always be happy, never betray you or ask you to drive the car. lol

Having lots of kids and grandkids, agree 100% there’s nothing like the feelings I have for them.

But some people can’t have kids, or have other problems that actually prevent them from experiencing emotions most of us can. For many of them a dog is a life changing thing. And dogs love those people as unconditionally as they do the rest of us.

A dog is also a blessing even for parents.

Yeah, dogs are loyal, unconditionally loyal, forever. Age doesn't matter.

Sorry to hear. Pugs are very lovable! I bet the day u get another one u'll wonder why u waited so long. My dog is my heart and soul and not sure what id do without him to be honest.
