Here you go (with lots to download): 2000 Cobra R

Related to that 2000 Cobra R press kit linked above................I could not believe it, but I came across a press kit that was given to a member of the media at the Firebird Int. Raceway 2000 Cobra R 3-day media event. The guy (or girl) kept every piece of 2000 Cobra R SVT documentation that they came across at that event. They had the Press/Media Kit itself.............and then they also kept the "Welcome Letter", the "2-page Event Itinerary" and even unbelievably the "SVT Cobra R Evening Meal Menu" at the 2000 Cobra R Media Drive Event as it was called......I mean who keeps the SVT 2000 Cora R menu from the Top of the Rocks Café???.......but it was in there.....

The following 4 sheets are what do not come with the 2000 Cobra R Press Kit, but were information given to the media member for the 2000 Cobra R Media Drive Event.....Speaking of Rare documentation.....

Lobster Napoleon anyone?.........

and then the complete kit as I received it along with one of the Black Cobra R hat (in its bag) and a Black Cobra R windshirt, new with tags......

With the windshirt and the hat........

When I looked for the pictures above, I also came across some other pictures that some on here may know about and others may not........The 2000 Cobra R Black polo...........you know.......you find one, you buy it, check that off the list........Not so fast.......there were two, one was for the SVT side of the 2000 Cobra R program and one was for the Ford side of the program. Shown below are both, and the Ford labeled version is harder to find than the SVT labeled version, but both are probably hard to find now.

Also notice the SVT Cobra got Silver stitching, the Ford got White Cobra stitching.......

and the Cobra color difference......

To the OP, "If" you get into the R-Model(s) and become a memorabilia hoard, it will get Very Expensive, both in time to track stuff down, and money once you find it....Been there on all three R's.....Cha-Ching, and that is not including the car itself....

Very cool to see your collection of Cobra R items, some I have never seen before, thanks for sharing. You are right, it can become a time consuming and expensive obsession to track down these types of items associated with our cars. I have the polo shirt still in the bag. Assuming because of the silver stitching that it must be the SVT version, cant see the sleeves in the bag to confirm.

That is what it appears to be, SVT.

The guys on the Ford side who were part of the assy. line set-up, chassis, upholstery, etc., they got the Ford Cobra R polo shirt.

If you have seen the 95R Dearborn Assy. Line Documents that I have shown over the years, the meeting rosters that were included in those original documents listed who was involved in a project like a Cobra R. They were from SVT, Ford and even some outside source representatives were in those meetings. The rosters showed where they were from internally (with emp. numbers/departments) or from the outside, Roush, Tasca, etc.

Just tear that bag open so we can verify!!!!! LOL!!!!

I know Tim. I am sorting through some of that stuff just to verify what I actually have. My wife and I have decided that we will not be getting back into a no-A/C car, even though I have a special place for the 2000 Cobra R, it does not look like it will happen again.......So, I am looking at what I have.

I came across a Very Cool "Ford Update" brochure that includes the 2000 Cobra R on the cover (front and back) and a 2-page spread inside. It also shows the 2000 Cobra R hat in the Khaki color, which I believe (but am not positive) is a little bit harder to find than the Black ball cap that I previously showed.

I will take some pictures of the brochure, I have only seen it twice, the first time I was outbid at $113 on eBay, back in the 2003-2005 time period. The second time, about 2 years later, I won the bid....I had looked for the brochure for 2 years and FINALLY found it, that was 13-15 years ago!!!

This is the Ford Update brochure I am talking about. Maybe it is a common item and I just didn't look in the right places, but I have only seen it twice and I looked daily for a couple of years after I saw the first one and was outbid @ $113. << I remember that because I bid Real High at $112, or so I thought in a last few seconds proxy bid......and I lost. I was bummed. As the months past and then a year plus, I knew the next time I saw it, if there were to be a next time, I was going to own it! I know you know what I am talking about.

In the lower left corner it shows and describes the Khaki color 2000 Cobra R ball cap......
