Yes, because the actions of a few should always get interpreted as the actions of an ENTIRE group of people...

The reality is that these idiots acting as a mob to loot and destroy will be tied to BLM. Sorry, but that is the reality of the situation. BLM has done a good job of exposing what is happening on the streets and has made a difference. Police departments around the country have made progress, changing their policies and training officers how to avoid stupid decisions.

They had to do so as a grass roots movement because neither political party would do anything about the problem. Now a bunch of idiots are erasing all of their hard work.

You would think if these guys get fired, the Mayor wants at least one of them brought up on charges the BLM 'upper management' would tell the rank and file to not loot and just protest [ loud and mad as you want]
oh wait.....
Well, at least the Media has something else to play with for a while

There is no BLM upper management, it is more of a cooperative.

The Officers have been fired and should be investigated for criminal wrong doing. If any criminal wrong doing is found, they should be charged and sent to trial and the process should play out in a fair and reasoned manner.

President Trump has fast tracked the Federal investigation into the matter, so that should keep the local investigators honest, which, BTW is the same thing he did down in Georgia, so it should be fun watching liberals try and put this at the feet of the President, when he has done more for civil rights than the last four Presidents combined, especially, when his opponent (Biden) co-sponsored the most anti-civil rights bill since the fifties (the 1994 Crime Bill).

For those with short memories the 1994 Crime Bill "extended the death penalty to 60 new crimes, stiffened sentences, offered states strong financial incentives for building new prisons, and banned a range of assault weapons—helped lead to the wave of mass incarceration that’s resulted in the United States accounting for 25 percent of the world’s prison population." It basically expedited in the militarization of the police in the United States, resulting in police violence on the Black community.

Further, those that committed wrong doing and the City should be sued civilly by the victims family.

Delaware cemetery shooting leaves Elkton couple, 85 and 86, dead

If everything pretty much the same, and if it is just a few bad actors in the black community, then where are the few bad white actors robbing stores and breaking shit when they tables are turned. There is a tribal mentality when it comes to black people. Having lived and worked in a place with 60% black population, the mentality became and undeniable truth. It sucks that a black man was wrongly killed, but it isn't a justification to turn a blind eye to the actions of the black community every time this happens. I don't understand why we have to put on the kid gloves when it comes to black people destroying shit. Does anyone think this is good for the communities?

.... if someone had decided to act in that situation it would have sent a clear message to those cops that the residents of that city are not going to sit by and watch another person get murdered.......

LOL, R U serious??? If you and I and everyone else on this forum were standing there watching, we wouldn't know for sure the guy was actually being murdered. The cop is just restraining the guy. And if you attack a cop just because he's forcefully holding down a suspect, and there's other cops around too, I can see a giant SNAFU happening.

How about the four that just stood there while it happened... not to mention...

They are obviously Beta males that didn't want to interrupt their buddy. I don't know them. Minneapolis has had problems with who they choose to become LEO's. This isn't the first instance of this. It is either the people or the training. My bet is that whomever is training these guys is a dick.

The fact of the matter is 99.9999 (repeating of course) % of the people involved in these riots didn't and wouldn't give a damn about the man unless and until it was an example of cop on black man killing.

3:50-4:10 you can see the life be drained from him. It’s a tough call to make for sure. On one hand you risk ruining your life (and your family’s) potentially saving another guy’s life (whom you not know).

Not sure what I would have done myself.

starts with leadership which in a liberal state, city is probably nonexistent...empty suits that probably never walked a beat...

EDIT: to clarify I believe poor leadership has led to bad hiring practices, indifference, not holding officers accountable for bad conduct etc...

Notice how it’s always liberal run cities in blue states with the worst police issues.

My suggestion would be to raise the standards of LEOs.... Deliberately hiring people with Low IQs doesn’t seem to be working...

US Court Ruling: You Can Be "Too Smart" to Be a Cop - Global Research

Can a person actually be “too smart” to be a cop in America?

A federal court’s decision back in 2000 suggests that, yes, you actually can be.

Robert Jordan, a 49-year-old college graduate, scored a 33 on an intelligence test he took as part of the application process to become a police officer in the town of New London, Connecticut. The score meant Jordan had an IQ of 125.

The average score for police officers was a 21-22, or an IQ of 104. New London would only interview candidates who scored between 20 and 27.

Jordan sued the city alleging discrimination, but the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York upheld that it wasn’t discrimination. “Why?” you might ask. Because New London Police Department applied the same standard to everyone who applied to be a cop there.

And the theory behind it?

“Those who scored too high could get bored with police work and leave soon after undergoing costly training,” ABC News reported back then. While at least acknowledging the basic fact that such a policy might be “unwise,” the court deemed it had a “rational basis” because it was put in place to lower cop turnover.

The police department went on to continue automatically disqualifying anyone whose IQ was “too high.”

Straight up... NOT ONE SWINGING DICK ON SVTP would have done shit to help this guy.

Ask yourself, would you throw away everything for a man that is a criminal and that you don’t even REMOTELY know?

NO. No one here is going to martyr themselves. So let’s drop the Hero Act.
