this was a basic c8 not z51.

Good races. I'm not surprised the Mustang was able to pull on the vette, but i didn't think the Tune only Supra would.

OMG, how could this be? I thought Hennessey showed the C8 pulling everything and anything? BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

This one isn't a Hennessey. Had the Vette been a Hennessey (and I'm not a fan of Hennessey), the results would have been different for sure.

I'm not surprised either that the Mustang caught and pulled on the C8. I am, though, surprised at how easily the Supra pulled away. Tune only? I'd like to know a little bit more about that Supra.

Apparently that car is E85 tune, X pipe and axleback, from what I can tell from guys with similar mods on the "other forum" it should be solid in the 430-440 whp range. Long tubes apparently help out those cars quite a bit.

Also, the supra does seem a little quick for it's mods.. Maybe they do well with a tune.

It blows me away that so many Car Guys are surprised by the Supra. BMW turbo cars are well known for being underrated to begin with so with that said you take a stock 382hp supra a then at a tune ( again well know fact what a simple tune does to a turbo car) then the fact that it is a light weight car ( light for today's standards) and has a quick auto trans

looking around the supra with just an E85 tune (not full e85 either, more of a blend due to fueling limitations) can make 450+rwhp(ive seen some dynos at 480 or so) & the car weights right around 3400 lbs, i can see why its easily beating a C8 which weights 3600lbs and makes around 440rwhp.

Yeah, the Supras are putting down 370-380whp on the dyno stock and it is known that 60whp can be had with a tune on those motors.
