Wondering if anyone has had a problem with this on their car. It’s only on the two rocker panel moldings. It’s deep in the paint. I’ve trued rubbing compound and all kinds of other stuff. The car has been sitting inside the garage for a couple years.

If you have mold growing in the paint your only option really is to sand it all off and repaint the skirts. Either there was a problem with the prep work at the factory or you have micro cracks in the clear that has allowed to mold to take hold and grow. Even if you are able to remove the mold it is temporary and it will come back.

Thanks. That’s what I figured.

Buddy with a CO he bought in Louisiana had the same issue. Skirts, rear bumper, and side scoops. Plus they were all faded. Had it all repainted to solve the issue.
