Diesel owner, do you/have you ever put Jet A jet fuel in your diesel truck? I know the fuel is very similar to #1 diesel and kerosene, therefore is dry and would need an additive if used on a regular basis, but was wondering if any diesel owners here used it and how it’s worked out for them.
My next truck will have a diesel engine, and I have access to a large supply of Jet A. I wouldn’t be against using it if I won’t run into any issues.

No minimum cetane rating for Jet A, high sulfur, and lower viscosity which could eventually wear out your pump faster....aside from the terrible lubricity.

I definitely wouldn't run it in a modern common rail fuel system. Older systems are more flexible, but still not ideal to use.
