Stock black or painted?
Just stock black. I ended up selling mine years ago when i got the frpp one. But when i did some changes the frpp one would not clear anymore so i sold it. Looking to get a stock one again.
I have one of each but I want to keep one, preferably the black one. BUT the painted one is original to my car, and I'm really anal about keeping all my original parts. The only problem is I don't like the painted one..... Oh, what to do........?? And who cares about a simple bolt on part like this one being "original", right?.......

Lol well the only good thing is i dont believe they are tied to the vin.
Its kinda funny cause all my local buddies threw theres away or cant cant find it cause they didnt use them when they went to drag setups.

Well, I've been thinking about this, trying to predict how I'd feel if I sold the original painted bar and also if I sold the non-original black bar. I think I'd feel worse if I sold the original, even though it's painted (red with white stripes)... So I will hesitantly let the black one go...

Will the 08-09 KR FRPPBrace fit a stock 2014 GT500?
Good question. Physical it will mount and clear the stock blower. The issue would be does the hood clear.
Ill keep you just in case the deal falls through with willie. I sold my 08-09 KR brace cause it did not clear my frpp/whipple intake.
I know this is an old post, but if you still have that laying around I'd be interested.
I'm having a Roush Stage 3 installed in 2 weeks and I heard this brace will clear it. My GT has a GT500 Hood if that helps.

Both braces will clear a 2.3. The stock brace is the less expensive option at $50, the Ford Racing KR brace is discontinued and priced at $400. Shipping and fees aren't included.
