So, I am looking at buying an open car trailer now.

I have my options narrowed down to a Futura trailer and an ATC trailer.

I'm in the same boat but I've decided to do an xpel stealth wrap on my truck first before buying a trailer because I've been having fun in the dirt a lot lately but the social distancing. Is going to be much more pricier than I anticipated I put the trailer on hold along with the front and rear bumper I was looking at

Local dealers near me are selling like crazy not with crazy deals either, our local ford has moved substantially more units then normal, claiming low interest rates.

The dodge dealer I was looking at in Texas has moved 50 trucks in the last 3wks going from 130 units in stock down to 80ish. A few of the trucks I was looking at a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black edition was 7k off and it sold. The deals might not last long.

When sales are off by 40% and plants starting to produce again, I think they will. Remember all financing is low. 30yr fixed is 2.9%.

The best open trailer is the Featherlite 3110.
Or check out Sundowners open trailers as well. All aluminum.

Local Chevy dealers have minimal inventory for some reason. They are really spreading out what they have on the lot.

Im guessing they choose not to restock inventory.

Yeah, I think they screwed up their ordering. I'm betting they had way better sales than they thought they would early in the pandemic. Now they are trying to play catch up.

Why don't people buy raptors out of state and ship them to California? It costs 1800 bucks to ship one in an enclosed trailer from Chicago to Los Angeles and there hundreds for sale at thousands less than MSRP.

I did exactly that back in 2016. Bought mine out of the Houston, TX area and drove it back to Cali. Saved myself about $10k at the time.

My wife and I took the opportunity to grab a mommy missile with all the zero percent financing available lately. We we're going to buy in the next year to year and a half anyways, so we couldn't pass up the incentives. We grabbed a 2020 Explorer ST in Rapid Red and couldn't be happier with it!

To me if your going to buy out of state for a personal vehicle, fly and drive home in it. Enjoy the cruise home in your new vehicle.

Agree. Get the break in period out of the way. Especially in warm weather season. Just have to keep an eye out for the June thunder storm that can produce hail.
