dude, I've got more than that in my car, its all forged but basically stock, and I haven't even driven it yet so i'd say you did fine.

My gut feeling is anybody willing to spend money to match the intake parts with mystic (which is mucho grande $$$$) probably did his best to make sure everything else was done right. that's a good sign for sure.

that was my logic as well. The interior is MINT. All the parts that I COULD see were there. I looked up some things that typically go wrong aesthetically and it hasn’t happened to this one yet (factory radio fading, cowl cracking). So my feeling was if they took the time to take care of all those parts, they probably did the rest correctly.

Thats why Im surprised you got such a good deal on it, someone knew their shit and took care of it...You'd think theyd be asking top dollar for it

I'm looking at the engine bay photo.

Is there a plug in the top inlet of the Power Cooler?

Who did all of the modifications? The person you bought it from?

Modifications were done by the 2nd owner, I got under it today and nothing looks obviously wrong & the stuff used is reputable brand stuff. When I get home I’ll check on the power cooler.

edit: I’m the 4th owner

From what I see in the photos and from the list of mods, and the mileage, you got a nice deal on it.

I agree with most other people. Paint looks good, car looks clean, all of which is a good sign. Paint matching the blower/intake/aftercooler is OCD level obsessive, which would make me think they probably did forge the bottom end like they said, especially if they went through the trouble of camming the car. But even with a stock longblock in there, I think $10k for that car is a good deal.

Took the Cobra in for a state inspection today & all good news. Nothing you wouldn’t expect out of a 24 year old but I got a good look at the suspension/underbody and saw more that leads me to believe this car was built correctly. These are the parts I THINK I identified correctly:

-BBK Longtube Headers
-Flowmaster American Thunder Catback Exhaust
-QA1 Tubular K-Member
-UPR Tubular A-Arms
-Steeda Bumpsteer Kit
-Tremec TKO500 (TR3550)
-BBK Full Length Subframe Connectors
-BMR Adjustable Upper Control Arms
-BMR Adjustable Lower Control Arms
-SR Performance Struts
-Tokico Shocks

if you see anything I might have missed or misidentified please let me know!

Note: I failed the inspection because of a blown strut so I’m getting the SR Performance ones *for now* until I get a good measure of how much money I can throw at her. Also.... that oil pan looks... odd?
