2002 Saleen 4v TT build(Pic Heavy)

I’ve always loved the look of new edge saleens, never cared for the 2v drivetrain. So I bought 2002 S281sc #408, a MG car with 77k miles with the goal of putting a 4v twin turbo swap.

Bought the car out of state and it arrived a pile of hot trash...engine barely ran, missing and smoking, interior was trashed with broken pieces, areas were repainted poorly and Saleen graphics missing. Couldn’t even drive it home from meeting the delivery truck, had AAA come pick it up. Not happy, but that’s what I get. Anyways -

just ordered a reische 170 t-stat from lethal and On3 coolant crossover delete. have a dealer friend getting prices on mishimoto and fluidyne radiators.

Sweet build. I run a Mishimoto and R 170, stays too cool in the winter. Not sure how that kit routes but the Mishi is noticeably thicker. Keep that in mind depending on where the turbo sits.

How was degreeing the custom cams with stock gears?

Any issues with the mishimoto? I’ve seen some posts about them leaking. Are you using their fan too? We’re still in “mock up” so we can work around the radiator if need be.

I had a shop install the cams with the engine build, so I don’t know.

Radiator has been fine, stock fans, no leaks. I'm running a blower though so space isnt an issue.

Didn't want to keep the 351?

I have the mishimoto and stock fans as well no problems.

It wasn’t a 351 car, just a 4.6 2v. Same as the GT’s with a little Eaton blower.

You could have used Trickflow Specialities 195-R heads for the 2V. I'm not sure if you knew about them...
