I think motorsports racing in general is in decline, there are more pay to play drivers than ever and not just in NASCAR...sponsorship is dwindling across the board. Companies nowadays are more risk adverse than ever and see these expenditures as unnecessary, frivolous and fraught with liability..

Bring road racing back, and you'll not only pick up a lot of non-nascar American viewers, but global viewers as well.

Bubba finished 11th which is a good run for that team considering they are somewhat underfunded and usually in garbage equipment. They had a broken droop chain which slowed down the pit stops and he consistently lost 5-6 spots on every pit cycle.

Ill give KB about 1 CM of slack here. Id normally expect him to be completely off the rails in some manner or fashion. Been a fairly reasonable debate minded poster as of late. Im sure Ill be disappointed again soon enough, but it was a welcome change, even if it doesnt last.
