WTB: 1:18 Maisto SB Coupe diecast

I've been looking for this model for a while. If anyone wants to get rid of one let me know. Thanks!

Yeah, Nate, the blue version (coupe) is hard to find. I just did a search and only found a couple of convertibles. One option you might consider. Buy another color that plentiful and custom paint it. @Black Gold 380R did a lot of very nice custom work, but he's no longer taking orders. You might be able to get some painting tips from him, though, if you decide to go the custom paint route.

You are correct, I don't have the time or space now that I have started my 65 build to paint these right now.

I also don't have any SB's on hand either.

OP, I can only recommend you keep your eye on Ebay. They do come up every now and then. However, they go for a pretty penny.

Yeah, that is the next best option. I’ve seen some custom ones like mystic and grabber green which are really cool.

I will definitely keep my eye on eBay! I manage to get a SB Vert and TR Coupe, but I really want a SB Coupe. I know there are people around the country that has stock piles of these.

It's actually $520. Typically when there's a buy it now, that's what they want for it.

That's one of mine. I can tell by the 3D chrome emblems and the Cobra in the grill.

If I'm not mistaken the original owner purchased 2 from me. He then sold them on Ebay.

I think this guy bought this one from the original owner and is now flipping it.

I know $400 seems steep to some, but SB and MC goes for around that price range.

What do you mean by real one? If you mean an original Maisto SB coupe then no.

If this is mine it was originally a TR coupe that I custom painted SB using the original factory color and then clear coated with house of kolor clear.

Okay, your first statement was definition I was holding in my head. If this was repainted version it would be very hard for me to pull the trigger on a model like this for this price point, IMO. However it is still an amazing piece by what you did to it.

I see your point and understand your view on the situation. Nothing like an original car from Maisto.

However, there is a lot of work, time and materials that go in to a custom build. I just think I offered a very good alternative. Especially, in colors Maisto never offered.
