Hey y'all,
Still pretty new to this forum but have a question. I recently got my dad's cobra. Car has not seen mods in years and I do not think he remebers everything.

I believe I have a Flowmaster american thunder cat back but, do not know what else my dad has done to the exhaust system. I am thinking he has everything stock except that flowmaster cat back.

As far as making the car louder I would like to know my option's. Still running cats and muflers but, I am not sure if I have a stock H pipe or resonators. I would like to know what's the best option bang for your buck wise. Cat delete, mufler delete, resonator delete?
I don't really want to spend to much money just yet just want more rumble over the blower . Thank's in advance !

If you have extra parts laying around, try swapping some out. Exhaust noise is such a personally subjective topic, it's virtually impossible to give the 'correct' answer for anyone's particular situation. Plus, the vehicle and engine configuration make for an infinite variety of noise levels, even with same mufflers, LOL.

I ran cat delete for short period, but too loud for me. Plus I need cats to pass State Inspection..... and I love the supercharger whine anyway, much rather hear that than loud exhaust drone.

And don't forget, extra-loud exhaust is absolutely certain to attract more attention from cops looking to meet their ticket quota.

Good luck!

As you can see, exhaust selection and loudness is wildly varied. The options are many and personal preferences are a huge factor. Unless you specifically know what you're wanting (hardware and loudness), you're going to either have to take a shot at what recommendations you think will be best for you, or experiment (which can get expensive).

You quoted the answer to your own question.
Not much of a need for exhaust shop

Ours is one of the easiest to work on.

It’s all on the bottom and wide open.

Held up with rubber bands
That is why you don't need an exhaust shop. Do it yourself. Pussy "lol"

Going to an exhaust shop has something to do with my generation though? Yup I did follow up with that. When did I even say what I was going to do? Darn I am dumb for wanting to go to an exhaust shop
