Yep, still tons to learn. One thing at a time. If anything, I can help my friends only. I'd be happy with just that. My goal was to make my crazy idea work, essentially for myself only and never tell anybody about it, but when I began to realize the magnitude of how well it works, my brain began to spin other crazy ideas on what I could possibly do with this.

Another idea I have is to partner with a pro tuner and make it his exclusive offering. I already have an idea of who I would contact. And it's not the "big name" you see often on this site. My alternative is to buy in with SCT and become a dealer, but I do not want to write tunes. I'm enjoying my retirement too much to go into business for myself... lol...

Only time will tell.

Lots of good info. I would like to see how this plays out and longer testing. Sounds like a way to a right path for those that like to use methanol.

Sell it "for off-road use only". We all abide by that, don't we?

The number of cell changes to PCM code is making my head spin.

Officially, yes we do abide!

Those changes did not include the ones I changed, tried, did not work, and changed back, lol...

On the methanol and e85 pros and cons, I'm going to create a new thread and link this one to it. I feel more guys will look at that one. Should be another day or two.

Do you use sct or hp tuners? I would love to learn, its a pain to have to wait and go to my current tuner for a revision that only takes him 5 minutes. I get it, he's extremely busy, and i hate bothering him for little drivability adjustments.

I use SCT's Advantage III. Calibrator status (full access). HP Tuners did not exist when I started over a decade ago. If I had to choose today, I'd choose HP Tuners. Their technical support is second to none. It's too late for me as I have too much invested in SCT's.

I bet I know who you are talking about...

Here's a question that I just thought about that relates to the future. How green is methanol. Could the country's push towards all-electric vehicles have a big impact on this methanol system 7+ years from now? Just wondering. I do love what you're doing and really hope it all works out for you.

I will be submitting a provisional patent application (PPA) very soon, which will give my design "Patent Pending Status" for 12 months. Moving forward, it will take time for this process, so I will not be posting much else on this topic, unless people are interested in asking general questions about my design. I'd be happy to go into some detail.
