So I hear this slight chirp and thought it was my idler (it looks like I have the 90mm idler with bracket (might be the double bearing) on my car)

Anyway I ordered from lethal the metco 90mm idler and threw it on, and I noticed the belt hangs over ever so slightly.

The car runs fine and it looks smooth, but I'm wondering if this can be bad long term.

I compared this pulley to my old one and its def a little less wide (maybe 1/4")

Is there another metco 90mm idler thats wider that I should have gotten?

You know you can replace bearings, right? Looks like you got an 8 rib pulley to me.

OP I wouldn’t **** with a belt that kinda sort of fits the idler... ever seen one of those ****ers let loose in the engine bay? Lots of vulnerable rubber hoses around that blower belt....
