Vapor lock, dead pedal...talk to me

On way more than one occasion, after a drive in the heat of the day, if I shut the car off at a gas station for example to fuel up, I start the car up, push the pedal, and no throttle response. No revving of the engine, actually if you push the pedal, the rpm's go down. Let it idle for a minute or two in most occasions, hit the pedal, throttle response like nothing ever happened.
Does not happen all the time but enough that it can be annoying. So what's up? I have the usual 2013 GT500 mods, JLT Big Air intake, VMP 67 MM TB, upper pulley, ported and polished blower, 93 octane tune, etc. Car runs fantastic, no issues ever, no engine lights, normal running temp no matter if on the 90 degree day or a 50 degree day, Inlet temp on the gauge reads 127. Explanation on what's happening and what to do about it if anything at all would be awesome ! TY

It's not vapor lock, but I've seen a lot of 13-14 owners have the issue, even on stock cars. It's obviously something in the original calibration that causes it. I don't know if Ford came out with a calibration change for it or not. If your car is tuned, mention it to your tuner. Perhaps someone has more experience or a successful result for that malady.

Had it on my late production '14. Lucky for me the last time it happened was in front of the SVT Tech at my Dealer. Took it back Data logged it and opened an issue with the Hot Line. Car was Stock. Replaced the Battery and Throttle Body under warranty, updated the software. No issues since, about 5 years ago. Good luck with your issue...

Has happened twice in 20,000 miles. Both times I have shut it down and started it right back up and the issue went away as fast as a fat kid running towards the ice cream truck.

Might get banded...don't know if it legal to make fun of an ice cream truck nowadays?

my 13 GT500 had this issue, no one has a fix that I know of. It's not the T/B or the fuel system.

Happen to know the lastest calibration they installed? I have heard of this situation, thought there was a TSB with a PCM update

I know he worked with the Factory Hot line, and did update the PCM, don't know if there was a TSB. I brought it back the following weekend as they had to order the TB. Has worked OK since, no issues. Thx

do you have anything plugged into your OBDII port?
I have a Aeromotive gauge that plugs directly into there for monitoring IAT2 temps, and I have had 1 issue where I got into the car, knocked it with my knee and the plug was half in- the car started but did exactly as you said.

Just throwing it out there as a possibility
