I'd consider my 02 GT to be very tastefully modded with some nice parts on it, yet no one seems to want to pay close to what I want for it. Id be willing to return some of the cosmetic stuff back to stock for a lower price too. Maybe I should just hold onto it for another 12 years and see what happens.

Clean edge body saleen's are right in there with cobra's for holding value.
Really? In this area I always see them under $10k. Found a nice one the other day and they wanted $6000 for it. Was it a serialized Saleen? Idk if it was or not because they only had pictures of the outside and one crappy engine shot.

Around MN, yes, have had my eye out for a while.

I guess if i'm answering the question it would be 07-09' GT500s, but I think S197s are, well, just not my flavor. I still stick behind New Edges. They sell for dirt cheap, and usually have a ton of aftermarket mods included with that ridiculously low price

I think 11-14's and 15'+s, although not as bad, are still priced at a premium, and this is coming from someone who is seriously trying to buy one. At this point, I don't care what options it has or lack there of, as long as it's a 5.0 and a 6 speed. I'm scouring the internet on every site trying to find a reasonable deal on a 2011-2014 5.0 or 2015-2017 5.0, I dislike the facelift on the 2018 plus models, plus thats when the price starts to go up. The pricing on 2015+ 5.0s seems to be fair for the most part, but 11'-14' models seem to be way overpriced and have an abundance of miles. The only cars the resemble anything close to KBB, are ones that are comparable to ones with 50k miles, priced at that much, yet the seller's car has 80k+ miles on the car.

Part of the reason i'm going back to possibly picking up a fox body and an 04-07 WRX for my DD. I'd prefer another 2011-2014 WRX, but I can't afford to also pick up a fox body as well if I picked up a 11'-14' WRX/STi.

Great input, I'm thinking the 11-14 GTs are the best deal right now. Looking around, I'm finding trends of new edges going up. If someone has a 30k mile example they want like 15k for it which is hilarious when you can step into a 11-14 with a the same mileage for a few grand more.

The new edge is a complete piece of shit compared to a 2011 and up GT

I was reading an article about how millennials have become the 2nd largest demographic of car collectors behind boomers, and apparently the most popular cars for them to buy now is either a classic 60s Mustang or the SN95. I don't remember the list of cars exactly but I remember that the Mustang topped the list.

I think it's used GT350/GT350R
Bro got a 350R for 58k with under 3500 miles... probably was almost 100k car with ADM. Passed on a ass ton of gt350s in the low 40s

For a while I was trying to find a decent 05-09 gt to daily. Used mustangs are just so risky. Almost every one I looked at in my price range was ran into the ground and the nice 3 valves were going for extremely high prices, like damn near 11-14 gt prices. I just gave up. And good luck trying to find a decent bubble or new edge car these days. All the kids have been through them at this point. That's how it is in my area anyways.
