So I have to pass an OBDII Emissions test where I live and have done so In the past in 2018 by swapping my offroad x-pipe to a kooks catted x-pipe and using o2 spacers from Big daddies garage.

O2 Simulators

I asked lund for a tune with all the emissions monitors enabled and have since uploaded it and put about 90 or so miles on the car. All of the emissions readiness monitors read "ok" with my OBDII scanner except for o2 sensor and o2 sensor heater. How long does it usually take for these parameters to set? If i remember correctly last time i did this 2 years ago they all set within 50-60 miles. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?

Took me at least 100+ miles with various driving conditions

I play games too for Inspection. But I don't have to change any pipes, I just change the tune. I can get all my monitors to set in about 25 miles. I'm not sure how much it helps, but I follow the protocol carefully, this one here:

Thanks for the info on ford's drive cycle info. I didnt see anything about the o2 sensors except for Hego, which i thought was the technical term for the front o2 sensors

So what is your current set up that isn’t working? Is it the catted pipe with spacers? I had issue with the spacers years ago and ended up getting a catted X-pipe and putting it back on because of the issues. I was working with Shaun from AED at the time and it just wouldn’t reset them after listening to his instructions and following fords drive cycle. He said some cars will need cats to reset it if I remember correctly. Hope you figure it out.

I passed emissions 2 years ago using a catted x-pipe and the o2 spacers. The reason why you need the spacers is because if you don't use them you will still get CEL's P0420 and P0430 for cat inefficiency because the high flow cats are less restrictive than the OEM cats. I just thought after 100 miles or so everything would be set. I will follow the ford drive cycle procedure that Mojo88 posted to see if that will help them set.

Well good news, i replaced the rear o2's and followed the OBD drive cycle procedure and was able to get the rear o2's to set within 50 miles. Just need to get EVAP to set and its off to the testing station.

Went to the testing station and passed. Was reverting back to my free flowing exhaust afterwards and noticed that I had run over a plastic bag and it had got caught on and melted to my x pipe. Anyone know if it is possible to get it off? Not a huge deal but kind of unsightly even if it is underneath the car.

Awesome that you passed!!!

Yeah man, that pipe can be cleaned and buffed like new. Stainless exhaust pipes lend themselves well to clean and polish. I did a quick search, but couldn't find the threads on how to clean & polish. Maybe someone else can chime in........
