I got white to hide paint sins since I used to DD this car when I lived in Jersey. My backup option was Ruby Red tri coat but I'm still happy with oxford white

That's a nice detailing booth. I'm always impressed that many provide outstanding detailing services without a booth like that. A friend of mine does it in his garage, and he does outstanding work. And a competitor in town has a state of the art detailing booth side lots of lights above and on the sides. Both do outstanding work.

Had a close call today. Garage door had a catastrophic failure but thankfully it missed both cars. I’m ready for 2020 to be over.

That's one heck of garage door failure. Did one side stall and the other fall after the failure? I've never seen a door like that.

I’ve never seen one this bad either. I think one of the rollers came off or got in a bind and the motor and springs did the rest. I folded the bottom up trying to straiten it out but the track was even bent all up. My wife just opened it and took out the trash then closed it.

Wow, yeah, that much damage amounts to a new track at best. How is the door itself, spring and motor?

Springs are good but I think it might need a new motor. Bent the chain track but maybe they can fix it. I’ll know later today.

was that from track use or just weather?

Apex wheels are real popular with the BMW guys.
I think it was from the heat, but I never seen powdercoating fail on a wheel for that reason. Structurally, the wheel has held up to a lot of track days. There is a bend in one of my rims but it is still able to be balanced and I only feel the vibration above 110MPH. I just really dislike the quality of the finish. I intend on ordering some more sets of Apex wheels once they have their annual group sale.
