Well gang, as some of you know, I go through cars/bikes like I go through underwear. My last few cars I have done fairly well on. I've been on a weird sort of trend where I am buying cars that are nearly fully depreciated and on some occasions value can even go up. Without mentioning what I paid for the ferrari I can say that I bought the car cheap. I bought it when many of them were on the early "covid" market and I bought one that had been sitting at the dealer awhile.
As some of you may know the used car market has EXPLODED the last 30-45 days. Many of my local friend dealers are selling cars the same day they get them on occasion.
One of my good friends had been telling me the last few weeks that my Ferrari FF value had gone up and I could make an easy 10-15k on it. That doesnt happen very often (or ever) so I decided to test the waters. I really wanted to buy a car that was as special as the Ferrari and at the same time get something that was fully depreciated.
I was heavily focused on 2017-2018 Acura NSX. I was finding several of them that had 200k stickers, no miles for under 120k. After reading reviews and watching many videos on them I was even more excited to possibly get one...then I started stumbling over 2015 and newer 911 turbo S. Stock 10 second German Engineering, awd and a backseat for the little ones...hmmm.
But then I stumbled upon a car that I had wanted since they announced it. A car that really lets people know you love america. A car that should literally be sitting on the white house lawn to warn other countries not to ever **** with us.
The only negative of this car was that it has not fully depreciated, matter of fact it hasn't depreciated at ALL...lol. What car is that...ladies and gents I present to you the unicorn of corvettes...the 2019 Zed R1. 1zr but it does have the ZTK package and 8 speed auto. MSRP was 127,580 and I paid 120. 5k miles. Lots of warranty.
So thats what I have this week...lolol. Not sure what I will have next week...I have zipped up my hater suit and I ready for the svt onslaught...from a ferrari to a chevy...haha.
pics! and yes, I need a new plate ASAP...I have already been asked if my zr1 has a v12 in it...lololol
