I saw the video. It looked like a small woman who shot into the squad car. This is like the 5th time this has happened that I know of. Even more reason why I don't sit stationary in my unit.
I really don't know why police stay and work in these cities. It really takes dedication. I would have packed up and moved by now.

"Protesters" went to the hospital where the officers are fight for their life and began shouting the most vile stuff. Like.....
Protesters could be heard shouting at one officer who appeared to point some sort of weapon at the protesters.
"That's why you're dying one by one, you stupid f---s," a man can be heard saying. "Y'all gonna die one by one. This ain't gonna stop."
"You're next with the f------ hot pocket," a man shouted.
"I want to deliver a message to the family of the [inaudible]: I hope they f------ die," a man yelled.
Some protesters tried to blocked the hospital emergency room entrance and exit, prompting this.....
"To the protesters blocking the entrance [and] exit of the HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM yelling 'We hope they die' referring to 2 LA Sheriff's ambushed today in #Compton: DO NOT BLOCK EMERGENCY ENTRIES [AND] EXITS TO THE HOSPITAL. People's lives are at stake when ambulances can't get through," the LA County Sheriff's Department wrote on Twitter early Sunday morning.

Like said earlier why the hell have police in Compton anyway. If the people in that community have no desire to clean it up because of Black Lives Matter then let them police themselves and see how it works out.

One protester leader shouted "this is the new America". That's what they believe because nobody is stopping them.
