IMO black wheels hide all the detail. From 20' is it a $90 Chinese POS wheel or is it a CCW, True Forged, or (other expensive quality) wheel? Who knows! All you see is black.

Well the good news is here is, from the looks of all these nice cars, you really can’t go wrong with either option. The chrome does look nice with the CO as well as the black.

Damn, I definitely fall into this category. I have cheap SVE black wheels. But since they were put on the car about a month before I bought it, I’ll take em!

It's all about personal taste. You could say polished/chrome is/was overdone, or back (gloss or satin) is/was overdone. I could be happy with either, but right now I'm partial to black chrome. I agree that certain wheel finishes go better with certain colors. But the bottom line is it's personal taste.

@RCMPSVT, congrats on finding/buying that LOW mileage CO Cobra. Nicely modded, dressed to the gills, and ready for action. Have fun with it!

I like the black wheels on the cars in this thread, not a fan of dull plasti-dip look or black cars with black rims though.

The plasti-dip especially, just looks like they rode their brakes too much and never cleaned their rims.

You need to post up some more pics. Me likey, black wheels and all.

When I bought my terminator, I had originally set up for CO back in 2004....

The terminator I bought was going to be daily driver (which It was for almost 10 years)

Anyhow I was at the table set up for CO and I changed to torch red last min, just because I didn't want to draw all the attention of the color at that time..... (Police, or ex gf's, or etc...)

Now days I wish I would have stuck with what I knew I wanted in the first place.....

Much love to my TR though.... She and I have been through a lot, and I shouldn't say such things about her ...

But I know in my heart .... CO...

. Maybe some day my TR will want/have a convertible CO sister.....
