Wife and I are VERY interested in the upcoming Bronco. We wanted to put down a reservation, but decided that until we know exactly what pricing and options looked like we would wait. This was when the Bronco was paper launched on July 13th.

Well, goddamned if we arent still waiting. I have a hard time imagining why in the absolute hell its taking Ford so long to get this Build and Price launched. Just when I think Ford is taking a good step forward, its really the same old same old.

Anyone have any inside info when this ship is leaving port?

Go over to BroncoG6. They’ll likely know when the Build and Price configurator is going live. I think part of the delay is because the Sasquatch package will be available with a manual tranny.

I'll head over there and see whats up. It cant be a coding thing, too easy to build a website and take their existing build program and update it with Bronco stuff.

If its a "planned delay" to "keep people interested", they should really just get over that idea. Feels like being strung along, and that I dont appreciate. Get the damn thing live so people have something to do for the next 8-9 months before they decide to start building these things.

They don’t have a solid answer on when B&P goes live. ford Marketing rep has been laying hints for weeks and continues to not give facts.

people need to switch by oct 31 if they want to change dealers tied to their reservation. The belief is the B&P tool we have to be released prior to that deadline.

ford marketing rep tweeted a few hours ago that tomorrow will be a big day. Kind of like when the tremor package was announced for the Ranger..... last week

Just know how this guy works.....he tweeted at 12:23 am so technically tomorrow is Tuesday.

So..

Yes, its annoying... but waiting isnt the best option.

Reserve one ASAP. They're building in order of reservation received. At this point it'll be mid- late 2022 before you'll see yours.

The $100 deposit is 100% refundable if you decide you dont want it.

@RedVenom48 , I'm surprised why you never did the reservation. The deposit is refundable so there's zero risk on your end. I understand that you wanted to see what the pricing and options are but now Nick is saying with all the reservations in thus far you're looking at mid to late 2022.

I reserved mine on 7/15 and some models were already unavailable at that time.

Not too worried about build and price as the wife has wanted another wrangler since I got her 14 bought back under lemon law, so I was all for it and I’m sure it will be in line or a little less than a wrangler.

Like mentioned...it’s a Benjamin that can be refunded for any reason. Big deal.

I think it’s a pricing thing. If the manual is available with the Sasquatch package, a whole lot of things can change across 6 model trims.

Lol and GT350, and RS owners.

This sort of thing seems to happen quite a bit though, I remember the Viper guys were pretty upset with the various delays on that car, the C7 had some of the same woes. A buddy of mine ordered a new 2013(?) VW diesel for his wife and it took like 18 months or something insane to make it to him. Another friend had so many delays with his Aprilia he vowed never to order a first year, new model again.

Enthusiast excitement greatly outpaces manufacturers capabilities. It seems like the only company that can do it right is Porsche.

I felt like I was going to die waiting for my RS, and mine showed up way earlier than some others and I got into line later.

Agreed on Porsche, and a lot of the reason that it works for them is they keep 'new' stuff under wraps long enough where they're ready for production during the announcement.

Dead serious.

Reservations have almost doubled their original projections.
