I just picked up something new. H/C/I Billy Boat headers and Corsa exhaust. It is nasty as ****. It came down between this and a built c7z z07. There is something about the c6 and ls7 that really grabs me. I wanted a raw experience and the c7 is too refined. This one feels like I went back in time a little bit. My wife hates it which probably means I made the right decision.

Dope AF sir. Cannot go wrong with those. It's gonna take a long time but I think those will be one of the more coveted Corvettes made....like after we're all dead. Lol

I feel like the C6Z is the terminator of vettes. It put the corvette deep into the league of exotics of the day but in a "**** you we american" sort of way. For american track performance there is a bright line between pre C6Z and post C6Z IMHO.

I agree. A lot of people say C5 was more nimble. Just saw one yesterday and it’s a very sharp car too.

But C6Z is one of the best looking cars to me. Period.

I heard this stat yesterday and had to look it up.

Overall length
C6Z: 176"
C5Z: 179"

C6 is actually shorter. This amazes me as C5Z looks much smaller to the eye IMO.

Congrats man that thing is bad ass!! I’m hoping to pick one up as well in the next 4-5 months.

How’s the drivability of that cam?

Thanks man. Do it! You will not regret it. These cars are a blast. It feels like a miata with 600hp. The power curve of big NA takes some getting used too. It is long and smooth. I am so used to turbo and SCd cars where you have to be on your toes when shifting. The delivery of this lasts forever.

No issues with the cam. I was worried given how choppy it is but it is very well behaved.

Good enough to barely get him away from daily foot locker BLM riots at his job.

No, your wife hates it because she realizes she married a dumb**** who prioritizes a car over the safety of himself and his family.

If you had a firing synapse in that empty dome of yours you wouldve gotten your family the hell out of that 3rd world dem shithole called minneapolis when ****ing RIOTS were going down outside your workplace and you were running for your life after clocking out.

But hey, you get to run for your life in a ‘dime a dozen’ C6Z now, playa. Props to you, i guess. Tard.

its all in the tune brother...I have ran some really nasty big duration, high lift cams that drive just fine with no surging, bucking etc....there are a few tables, parameters in the tune you have to play with, scale just right to get the car driving with good manners.

I bet, I had a c5 z06 and that car was a blast to drive. If I don’t already buy one with heads/cam, I’m leaning towards the RPM heads/cam package.

Thanks for the info. There’s a few tuners here in SoCal that have a good reputation for dialing in drivability, I’ll make sure to take it to one of them.
