Mach 1 fuel rails with 98 cobra intake

Making Mach 1 fuel rails work with the cobra intake...anyone done it?I’ve already got the mounting point issue solved but the FRPS is in the way of the Cobra intake...or does anyone have any other suggestions?

In this forum it’s usually the other way around. Making 96-98 Cobra rails fit the C head intakes. I’ve personally never seen it the way you’re trying but imagine it has been done. What’s the setup? Only thing I can think of is you’re putting a 96-98 motor in a Mach 1? If so, there might be enough flex in the rail to twist the rail out from the intake enough to clear the frps. If not, Depending on your setup, ecu, year car, it may not support return less fuel system and an frps.

My car is a 2002 GT but it’s 4v swapped so I’m trying to make the returnless style rails work

Ah gotcha. Yeah you need the frps in a returnless. I’m not sure if they make intake lid spacers for them anymore but if you can find one it might give enough clearance, I’m guessing the frps port is interfering with the IAC on that side of the lid. Other than that I’d still try tweaking the rail without kinking it, I was surprised how much I could tweak mine when I modified my 97 rails for my C intake. Sorry not much help...normally I’d just say go return and don’t look back lol.
