Amen to that! SVTP is the ONLY forum that I have no problem helping financially. One of the factors is that it's independently owned and operated. That's a rarity today.

Great job! The forum software you use is the best by far. Some other forums that I visit don't have some of the nice features that SVTP has. I like how media is handled, the likes etc. to posts. It is nice how attached files are embedded in the post. But that probably increases the demand on your server storage correct? I would imagine that could add up over time if people attach photos instead of linking them to an external url.

One thing I noticed on my iPhone is the column widths can get screwed up sometimes in Chrome. I have to close the app and load it again because you can't read any posts. Then the page refreshes correctly and the site is readable. I'll take a screenshot next time that happens.

but it beats the alternative of what already happened - all the how-to threads and such that used photobucket. Photobucket held everyone's shit ransom so all those threads became a wasteland (until SVTP figured out how to fix it!). Hosting the pics is less problematic in the long run

It def adds up, but it's worth it to have everything on hardware we own and control.

We had a custom script wrote to reach out and snag all those old photos and host them on our servers. It was hundreds of gigs worth of stuff and I think over a million files. We plan on expanding our hosting capabilities even more this time around.

Congrats and early birthday spankings from an OG.
Wish we could have done a Novemver birthday at Mod Nats in November but always next year!
As a social media/Facebook hold out, I definitely want to support my favorite car forum hangout.
And yes, bring on the boost weather hoodies!

Boost Weather were the jackets we did last year. They were custom embroidered. We still have some VooDoo hoodies left. I plan on shooting a vid showing those off in the next week or so.
