Has anyone picked up a set of the Chrome rims from AFS that cares to share an opinion??? Did a quick search for some reviews on the new ones being made but came up with nothing.
There was a guy on FB that was going back/forth with AFS due to the quality/condition of the chrome on the wheels he received last month. It was unclear if the issues were with the chrome, shipping, or some residue on the wheels. All I recall is that AFS wasn't resolving it quickly and he wasn't happy. I'll see if I can dig that up to see how it panned out. Like you, I am very interested in hearing from more people to see what to expect. The cost for the chrome wheels is too high for people to be experiencing issues.
I found the post on FB and the issue is still not resolved. He is considering returning the wheels since AFS is requesting him to polish the wheels to see if it resolves his problems, which he doesn't want to do. I agree that he shouldn't have to do it.
Any more pic's for the forged ones? Debating if i should get those, i have an old AFS brushed set on the car but the finish is starting to age.
Go custom finish on the existing set if otherwise in good shape.

If the Chrome work is in question, sounds like it is, I would buy the cheapest AFS wheel and than send the wheels to Cal Chrome in California to have em chromed out.
