I am actually prescribed TRT as well. Though I decided to do a little blast and bought some additional compounds. You ever try MENT, trestolone? Its a 19-nor derivative, think supercharged tren. I managed to handle that for about 3-4 wks...

nope, haven’t tried it. I normally just stick to a basic test tren or deca test combo. I know the guy I would get it through likes it however.

I just got labs done the other day and have debated doing a small blast but I currently am time limited for lifting so I hate to waste the gear with out giving maximum effort. I may re visit in a few months once I move and have the space to set up a proper home gym

Definitely no sense in wasting gear and putting your body thru that if you don't have the time to train hard. I am fortunate to have a nice home gym, have bought equipment for years.

I have some stuff in my current house so I’m good for the most part. I want more equipment but no sense in buying it now and then having to lug it to the next house as soon as it’s built. At this point I’ll wait and just have it delivered there.

currently have a squat rack with spotter arm attachments, adjustable bench, a cable pulley that’s adjustable height, some DBs, and a seated calf raise set up.

I want a full set of DBs up to at least 150s, a dual stack fictional trainer so I can do cross cable work, leg extension and lying leg curl machine and then it’ll feel much more capable.

I'd love to add a real cable machine and leg press sled. Pretty much set outside of that. Keeping my eye on surplus gym equipment, but that scamdemic has every ****ing thing at a premium!

Stay away from MENT, highly estrogenic, no real additional upside. Also Tren really has limited use in things other than contest prep due to it's neurotoxicity and general damaging effects to health markers.

It's doesn't beat traditional compounds for increased nitrogen retention. It does however beat all else for decreased protein degradation in periods of calorie restriction.

Also as a general rule of thumb, use only test and use it without an AI for the lowest risk. Nandrolone, while a great compound, is cardio toxic. If you take it consider also mitigating risk with an ARB2, Micardis.

Ive never really seen any poor health markers on tren. Maybe in volumes larger than 500 a week and for longer durations than 20 weeks. Slight BP raise which is negated with cardio, and I have seen an increase in hematocrit but it still fell in the normal range.

That's awesome, the neuro toxicity component is always there though

I used to take that crazy stuff when I was young but now I stick to mundane Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy. Gives me just enough boost to get through a long workout with shaking like a crackhead.

I try to stay off AI's...and or really limit their use, estrogen is definitely beneficial in regard to cardiovascular and neuro protection...I haven't needed an AI on regular TRT, but at higher dosages I have used them sparingly. I noticed no obvious estrogenic symptoms on MENT, however my aggression was off the charts, like I woke up ****ing pissed off, slept like shit. I have never had that issue on test, deca etc...

My BP has never gone past 130/80-90 on multiple compounds ran together. When on TRT its usually under 120...My hematrocrit has teetered on the edge, but still in normal range, drink tons of water throughout the day. Liver enzymes have stayed in range in too...it was my lipid panel that got shot to shit while on deca...

Any specific reason you guys use PED's? Do you actually have low test or do you guys compete? Not against it, just curious as most people say not to do it unless for reasons I stated.

JK..

I don't compete, nor care too. I have been hitting the gym since junior high. I use them because **** being average and yes I was natural for years, put in the work and got good results, but you only get so far before you reach your genetic limit. Plus as you age you just can't hold on to muscle like you did at 20 something. My other reason is mood, sense of well being. You simply feel incredible on test, even at therapeutic TRT doses, which are considered safe and life improving. I don't blast very often, typically its just trt.

TRT is done by injection right? how many times a week do you do it?

Yes, injectable, there are creams and gels, but you are better off injecting, it's much longer lasting and you will have more stable blood serum levels. Typically twice a week is good for most men on testosterone cypionate/enanthate. I have split my weekly dosage and done Mon/Thur and also MWF...Increasing the frequency had no impact for me, so I am back to Mon/Thursday...Think the idea behind more frequent injections is less conversion to estrogen with more frequent smaller dosages...at TRT doses I personally think that is moot, especially if you are already lean. My doc orders blood work every 6 mos to make sure my health markers are in range and no harm is being done.

i had low T (hypogonadism the Dr said) since my mid 20s. At the time multiple doctors and endocrinologists declined to help me. I took matters into my own hands and started testosterone. After a while working under coaches to get optimal results it was easy to want to try more, so I did larger runs of testosterone and then messed around with other compounds.

For the past 3 years I’ve been prescribed testosterone and haven’t done any other stuff. It’s a great feeling though, and for me has normally had no negative impact on my health and most importantly my mental health. I used to drink a lot and now I don’t so for me I guess gear use for a while became my vice. I got pretty wrapped up into bodybuilding and it was a lot of fun when I was single and had the time to devote to it.

personally I do once a week now but I’ve even done once EOW with no different feeling and pretty normal labs.

I know guys who now do sub q injections multiple times a week claiming better overall feeling but I just have yet to try it.

That subq stuff can cause big ole welts, just put it in the meat!
