I know this is a 2013-14 forum, but I had to post this. Reading the sticker and seeing what you get for $82K - actually $94,607 with ADM, I am even more convinced that the 2013-14 GT500 is the one to own.

Right, but the subject matter of your thread is to complain about the price.... which i agree is absurd.

However, there is no arguing the 2020 is the faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar superior car. It's not even close.
To each his own. By the way, I can afford a 2020, so that isn't the issue. It is all personal preference I would suppose. You wouldn't be from Texas, would you?

Hah, the 2013/2014 is vastly superior.

No convertible for 2020.

No manual for 2020.

**** that shit - those are the two reasons I didn't buy a 2020.

+1. Spot-on assessment! I'm not a fan of their cost, styling, absence of a third pedal, or the shift knob.

Like you, I was also in a position to add another fun car to my stable. I didn't even consider the new GT500 for all the reasons I cited. Instead, I went with 2019 7-spd manual C7 Z06. LOL @ TX reference - I see what you did there! :D

+1!

If slower, less horsepower, longer braking, inferior handling, a weaker engine, and a 90's plastic interior all qualify as "vastly superior" then I'd call you a Joe Biden supporter.

Way to go buddy... Joe's got your vote.

Eh. Obviously trolling...

The 2020 is superior in every way.

Unless you just want to go slower, with a worse ride, less power, BUT you want your hand wrapped around a stick for your outing.

if it isn't a manual I don't care if it's got 2,000 hp, it's a piece of poo for all I care.

That's why I own a 6 spd murci and not something newer like an SVJ aventador ... down with flappy paddels.
