Ballpark annual mileage - 443,000 miles/23 years = ~19,000/year.
That is about what I used to drive commuting to work each year, but I had a few cars that were used over my working life.

Wow. That is amazing on the high milers on here! Went through 3 engines and 2 T45s before 150k on my first 98. Car was cursed. Current 96 has 156k and still feels great...

I personally knew an owner that had around 180k on a pacific green 97 back in like 2002. One owner car, all original. Commuted about 110 miles a day in it, plus whatever running around he did on weekends. Lost touch with him years ago. No idea what happened to the car.

Did you out all 138k?

How hard did you drive it?

Spun a rod bearing at 138k. I've always babied my car. I was literally driving at 35 in 4th gear and the oil pressure disappeared.
The original t45 made it to about 120k. I got nearly 100k out of the oem clutch too.

Car has a built motor and turbo now, all bets are off for the rebuilt t45.
I plan on grabbing a Promotion t45 over the winter if all goes well.

A guy I work with owned a taxi he would drive on the weekends. Was 1998 crown vic. He had 550,000 miles when he blew the rear end for the second time and retired it. I don't think the 4.6 in the crown vic was dohc but he was on the original engine at the time. That was the most I have seen in person on one vehicle.

Another guy I worked with claimed he worked for NAPA when he was younger and the ford explorer parts delivery vehicle they had was very close to 900,000 miles, but that was only hearsay.

443k is very impressive. I wonder how many Terminators have over 500K miles on the original motor. Someone here was over 500K with their '03 Cobra, I believe. Equally impressive.
