Whelp, now we all know these engines are piece of shit with leaky crank seals. Spread the word.

More seriously, Jesus H Christ, what is the point of a OHV engine I'd it's buried in there like that.

Gotta pull the cab off to do manifolds or spark plugs?

Got to love mechanical fans... what a PITA.

I usually agree they suck but on something like this the reliability of a mechanical fan is second to none. OE electric fans are usually great but sometimes you get a full on POS design which craps out. For offroading, towing or long term reliance the mechanical fan is the way to go.

Clutch fan is WAY more powerful then electric. Electric is used only used only when you have packaging constraints.

But also robs alot more HP/TQ and MPG.
Doesn't the 6.2L still use the electric fan over the clutch fan?

I agree, since all the real work horses and Diesels truck use clutch fans.
