I'm a member of @KyleSVT's Discord, where a little bit earlier his sister let us know of an injury he suffered while working on a jetski yesterday. Thankfully he should be OK, but just keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He's a great dude!

Kyle is a good dude and I hope he gets well soon! I couldn't imagine how painful those burns on his hand must be, but I have an idea of the pain.

I made the mistake recently of having a few drinks after work a couple weeks ago and we were messing around on the welder in the shop. Was welding two brake discs together and had them clamped. After laying down a bead to attach them I went and laid a bead right on the base of the hub. I wanted to undo the clamp to get more space and made the bone head decision of putting my hand right down on the hub in order to hold it down to get the clamp off. Well it was hot of course and I felt it searing my palm and I quickly lifted it away and let out a really unconvincing "Owwww". Had a nice glossy spot on my palm and a circle where the hole was for the studs lol. Thought for sure it was going to blister up soon after and was in excruciating pain so I kept it under cold water as the only relief for the pain. My friend took me home and I had to hold my hand out the window the entire time with a cold wet towel wrapped around it. Got home and put ice on it and within 30min I would say, there was no pain, no blistering, nothing except the burn mark on my hand. So I got super lucky as I assume the hub at that point was probably about as hot as an iron gets. Hopefully you can get a laugh out of that story.

Yeah, that's pretty much what happened according to his sister. I'm praying for his speedy recovery and a release of the pain he is dealing with. Kyle definitely is a great guy. So sorry to hear about this.
